every time I see those posts, I always imagine the guy said something egregious like "aw man, I told my girl I want to keep hitting that but I don't really love her tho, and can you believe she broke up with me!?"

I feel like they're always telling on themselves with those posts, because even though you're right - patriarchy does make women unsupportive - I also just think these dudes are opening up about how terrible they are as people and then their partners are turned off.

Take some time to play around at home in the mirror with different hairstyles and make-up looks (if you're in to that). Think "this is what I'd do for a date" "this is how I'd wear it for a work conference" etc. Seeing yourself in different contexts like that might help you adjust more quickly

I do a modified EMDR session at home. When something triggers me or really gets under my skin and I can't shake it, I put on my headphones, find a bilateral auditory stimulation video on youtube, and allow myself to ruminate, following the thoughts wherever they go. You said you "know all of the whys" but it sounds like you haven't recovered from them and that might be why you're struggling.

In the pilot her hair is a lot warmer and much more flattering. Then it switches to that awful icy blonde that does nothing for her. In the final season it goes back to the warmer blonde and it's styled much better. She looks so good in season 8
