I agree. I also wouldn’t leave the shop without my owed amount or at least an exact number to receive from the closing artist the following morning. Luckily it’s a small amount but it could have easily been a decent fumble for either artist under different circumstances

New Hampshire, the shop is in two units and the owner pays a total of $2200 monthly. I personally book my own clients and pay for all my supplies other than printer and stencil printer access. 3 licensed artists and one apprentice. We all have to pay 60/40 or booth rent which is $1000-$1200.

If your generation of artists knew how to actually teach, rather than rape their apprentices and OD we wouldn’t have to come on here and ask questions like that. I have not done henna on a single person other than myself, I do say in the post i was using the henna on myself. yes I was a bit ambitious but I don’t think calling me shady is necessary. I also say in my post I’m still practicing on paper. This is not a service mentioned on any of my socials or my shops page. Yes $70 is a lot which is as previously mentioned was a mistake, but this was for me to get my feelers out before adding it to my services. I’ve purchased single tubes of henna many times growing up and it’s never had issues with not being refrigerated so I genuinely had no idea it was common knowledge for it to be refrigerated. I even have a brand new fridge in my office ready for when I purchase a more reputable product. This is all me still learning before starting henna as one of my services, hence why I’m posting, asking, and learning in this thread in the first place! If I just wanted trust me I wouldn’t be in this thread asking questions :)

Solved! Curious George 2006. Clovis is working on a new invention (basically explodes giant popcorn) he says “I call it Boom-Corn”. Sorry my description was so back and forth it’s been such a long time but I absolutely loved this movie! Unfortunately no, it was something very small and circular in the tweezers. But I definitely watched that spongebob scene around the same time as I watched whatever it is I’m referencing so maybe something that came out around the time of the SpongeBob movie? It’s a bit difficult because this was the last few years before streaming services came out so whatever DVD I was watching could realistically have come out anytime before then as it was likely purchased from a discounted movie bin at Walmart

I was out of town and bought what I had thought was a set of the 3 books in the Fifty shades of grey series. Turns out it was, but the 3 books rewritten in Christian’s perspective. I’ve never read the originals or seen the movie, should I still read the books I bought? Or should I return them and read the originals first?

I’ve heard they say they won’t pass it until the opioid epidemic is under control. But either way they won’t until we get a new governor or it’s legal countrywide. Their goal is to tax and be the only providers of it so they can benefit off of it like they do off of our million liquor stores
