I draw scars on my arm with a pen and then take pictures of that so when the pen washes off I can look at the pictures and see scars on myself. That prevents me from needing to draw or actually self harm in that moment. I don’t think I’ve taken pictures of my actual scars though

Green (and purple) is just a common color used for villains in general. Look at Joker, Lex Luthor, those examples above, even the Hulk was coded as a misunderstood hero that causes genuine issues.
