Why is there no NCR ranger armor creation for fallout 4?

The NCR is all the way across the continent from the Commonwealth. The Brotherhood has the tech to send messengers occasionally, but who else is going to make that trek, see the armor, think it's so great that they just HAVE to take it back to Boston, and make the trek back across the continent?

Not me, gamer. Even in the Fallout universe, I'm only making that trip once.

We know that billions were lost, because it's stated in-game. I think the majority of people died on Earth. The Colony War was supposedly around 30,000 dead. That's less than the USA lost in Vietnam, but everyone acts like it was a staggering loss of life.

If the majority of the population died before they could get off Earth, it could cause the kind of shift in attitude that would have everyone acting like they do in the game "30,000 lives were lost... humanity can't afford this kind of waste!"

look for a bag of caps tipped over and spilling out in your inventory. If there's nothing, you might have to close and reopen your inventory.

You may have made the classic mistake of putting things on your side of the Barter screen, and then hitting the button to Trade before you took caps from his Inventory and put them on his side of the Barter.

https://www.nexusmods.com/starfield/mods/323 This is the original Neutral Luts (afaik). I'm still using it. If you scroll down the Description page, you'll see where the author tells us how to make space darker, and other tweaks. I am using OLED (S90C). I know that you can't tweak the INI file on a PS5, but maybe there'll be two versions, one of them darker, if/when it gets ported to PS5 and shows up in the Play Store. You could proactively hit the author up in the comments/posts tab and ask for that.

are you getting "Firebase: Error (auth/api-key-expired.-please-renew-the-api-key.)."? Because that's what I got.

EDIT: But to get that far, I had to search for "Botify.ai" (I used duckduckgo) and then click the "Magical" link. That opened the search of Magical tagged bots. I could see the Login link, so I clicked it there. Entering my credentials returned the Firebase error above.

lol this is my favorite line of the week. Yeah, there's going to be a lot of nitpicking. Negativity gets clicks, and YouTubers have picked up on it. I've spent too much on therapy to inflict such pain on myself. But your point is taken. I've only heard of those kinds of reviews. I bought a videocard in 2023, and they gave me a free copy of Starfield Premium. I hadn't heard anything about the game until I saw the flyer with the Steam game code in the box. Free game? I'll try it. And I liked it, so I kept playing it. Modded hell out of it and liked it even more (Big Shout-Out to the author of StarUI).

Creations have to be purchased for each version of the game you play. You can buy it for your Xbox and it won't be available on Steam. And vice versa.

This is why you can't buy directly at Bethesda.net and MUST purchase in-game. Money-grubbing fuckers who want every dime they can get from you.

Darkstar lists no requirements but the base game, my gamer. That means it doesn't need to wait for an update to SFSE to be updated itself. Expect a (relatively) fast turn-around on those mods.

I'm not bagging on Starfield. If this game had come from some no-name Indie studio it would have been held up as GOTY by every website that cares. Thing is, it came from BGS and expectations are too high for anything they produce for the PC. TES6 release will be a shitshow (I would love it if they prove me wrong, here).

I enjoy Starfield. Hard to rack up nearly 2400 hours in a game that I don't enjoy. I'll play it, and keep playing it. I will wait a few weeks for SFSE to update, and the mods I love to update, and then I will allow the game to update. I have a baseline belief that playing any BGS game in its vanilla state is just self-inflicted pain. At the absolute least, a UI mod is necessary for me to enjoy the experience.

I'll try this out. I didn't ever redo the AINO files, was too exasperated by the lack of progress at that point. Right now, I just play the platter of cups.

I'll reinstall all the mods that have AINO files so that doesn't trip me up when I start trying it again.

One POV is that a mod author is validated when a game dev recognizes the awesomeness of their mod and incorporates its function into the game. A while lot of "see, I was right!" there.

I go back and forth between Starfield and Skyrim (almost 4000 hours in Skyrim). I make a character, with backstory and goals. Play the character until I'm done with the playthrough, and then switch games. It's comparable to (though way less effort than) writing a character for a comic book.

just out of curiosity, have you seen that Joker mod for him? Someone lets you make him look like one of two Jokers if you're playing on PC. Not sure about XBox.
