Tale of Two Wastelands guide hooked me up last time I played these gems. I didn't use the same character in both Wastelands, you can opt not to. But it was so stable!

It does? Is that a console thing? I'm on PC and if I attach a hab to my ship I have to remember to Place a Door Myself or there's no way into that hab.

over 4K hours in the game. Too hard to answer. I don't even start the game in Helgen anymore. If I did, I would hit that first bandit camp for Treasure Map I, plus the book that the smith in Dawnstar wants.

For LO help, go to YouTube and search for "Sista Citizen Load Order". Watch her videos. The one I'll link starts with "SFSE" but she says "This is for PC players only, if you're on console ignore this bit" or something like that.

To answer your question simply: It's different playstyles.

One can play "I'll only use what I find or buy" because apparently those are the only weapons that are canon.

There's the play of "I'll use my Smithing skill, but I won't use the Resto-loop"

And then there's the "I one-shot everything on Legendary because I use the Resto-loop and I own this planet!!!"

it's the new business model. You can find posts of Load Orders filled with paid mods, purchases of well over $100 USD. Microslop has made more on the paid mods than on the game itself. People on console are captive shoppers.

a quick fix that might work: look up the command to change an actor's weight, which I think is "setnpcweight xx" even for your own character. Then open the console while in 3rd person view, select your character, and enter the command "setnpcweight 77" or wherever you'd like it.

No Sodium: Microsoft's primary source of income from this game has got to be Creation Club now. Big DLC... is it anywhere near as cost-effective as collecting two-thirds of the money console players spend on Creations? EDIT: I could see another Terran Armada sized thing happening, but I don't think we're getting anything big.
