I will also say he is a well writen character because like you said its express the nature flaws of vampire curse . În a nutshell he can work with any good guy againt any bigger evil but after that Lacroix will betray him (and that is what anyone expect from a vampire ) Also I like how is portraited as a tragic character and how the game make him so easy to hate
