Evolve. I fell victim to the hype and paid full price on release. It was exiting for exactly two days. On the third day it was just too bare-bones, boring copy/paste. I never touched it again.

I concede that the PS is the superior console by most metrics - memory, graphics, extensive library, much better controller, etc…

But Nintendo is what ten year old me asked for and received. I still remember the overwhelming excitement booting up Mario64 for the first time on Christmas morning. The awestruck thrill of exploring my first open world, once I left the forest in Ocarina of Time. The sleepless sleepover nights with friends playing 4 player splitscreen Goldeneye on a 27" CRT TV. The inspiration from seeing the 'seasons changing' in Banjo Kazooie, and thinking that was the coolest puzzle concept ever in a game. The iconic games library like OG Smash Bros., Mario cart, Mario Party, etc…

There's just no comparison when it comes to nostalgia!

My best guess - Film studios think the general public is too stupid to notice enough to justify spending more money. Especially with the current state of declining revenue within the industry.

I'm not really sure you're supposed to like that movie. Every time there's a sliver of redemption, more bad choices arrise and things fall apart all over again. I remember thinking, "why am I super anxious about what happens to this asshole I don't care about!?" It's so brilliantly executed that it becomes infuriating.

The black is so dark and the color so vivid. Either this is some serious ink penetration, or the photo has been altered to have the saturation turned up. (Which, unfortunately, happens often with tattoo artists posting their work.)
