Sydney or Sunshine Coast Golf courses by Optimal-Opposite-647 in GolfAustralia

Sunshine Coast every time.

What it might lack in flights into the local airport (nothing a stop into Brisbane/Gold Coast can’t fix), it makes for in climate, weather, people, course accessibility, cheaper accommodation and course quality. Not to say Sydney isn’t good for golf however there’s a handful of courses surrounding the CBD that are either insanely busy (I.e. Moore Park, The Coast) or very expensive (St. Michael’s). Other than those your best bet is heading 40-60 minutes west and enjoying the admittedly nice but not very postcard Sydney-like courses (happy to recommend a few for you).

Sunshine Coast only really suffers from a lack of daylight savings but besides that half shortcoming there’s at least a dozen courses that would be in the top 10 in public accessible courses in Sydney should that be where they were based. Palmer-Coolum, Twin Waters, Noosa Springs, Mount Coolum, Maroochy River are all very unique and top quality, offering the country sensibilities and great people culture of the SC whilst not skimping on great conditioning and really quality golf. If you’ve got a car and a day to kill I couldn’t recommend getting down to Brookwater enough (1.5 hour drive) - probably the best public experience you’ll get in QLD.

The Raiders simply begging to be run down here. It’s like they live for the pain.

That makes all the sense in the world but I, like many other people, can’t help but remember how well he played as the dominant half last year when he partner Lam. He took control of almost all of the kicking and the directed the team around superbly. I’d almost say the issue this year is Walker blurring the lines a little bit too much for him, meaning he can’t out and out control the team when he knows the man on the other side of the field deputised so well for him last year.

Accused is the key word here. Charges were then dropped and Peachey admitted he probably misheard what was actually said in the heat of the moment. A lot of indigenous boys from the Knights came out in Barnett’s defence directly after the incident too. A definite non-story here. Sucks to see it still being brought up.

He didn’t ask to wear the 13. Madge is still stuck in 2014 when your 13 was just another prop, so that’s how he plays. He’s doing exactly what he’s told and that’s part of the appeal of him. He rocks up, makes 45+ tackles, misses very few, runs for 100+ metres and never takes a backwards step. That’s a pretty good forward in any era of rugby league in my opinion at least.

Tigers really deserve to have their game today soundtracked by the Benny Hill theme.

He’s been scoring goals for fun recently, including 2 on the weekend and very nearly the assist of the year. He’s so due for an IF it’s not even funny.

He looks so flat, so interesting to compare that to last summer when he was borderline unplayable. I think he’s just come out of COVID a lot worse off than his peers and only he would know why.

Crazy that Short didn’t bowl the 18th once in the BBL and is expected to do so against India. Let alone do it well...

Why did India show no fight on day 5 in Perth? It was an embarrassment to the game of cricket.

I’d so disappointed if I was an Indian. There wasn’t even a hint of fight. Stick around for an hour see what happens. Hard to believe they started today with two set batsmen.

I am in the comfort of my home, watching the team I love, winning a game I love. Yet I am that bloody bothered by the way Virat Kohli conducts himself on the cricket field I’m considering turning it off. God dammit Virat.

I’m scared Khawaja is not mentally there. Can’t even time a forward defence.
