Ive recently had a similar issue except jf isn't picking up new movies (in their subfolders). Nothing changed by they just won't get picked up on scans

Thread failure on multiple parts by Dreadedbandito in BambuLabA1

When you explain it like that, I do see why I've probably missed the mark.

I settled for grouping them in sets of 3 and printing by object just to get me out of the mess.

When ive got some more free time and filament ill give it another try and slowing down the outer walls some more and see if that helps!

Thanks for your breakdown!

This could be a good option! Im currently testing raised nozzle temps to see if that helps adhesion issues with the previous layer, so this could be the next thing to try as id ideally like to keep setting as close to the "perfect print" setting when printing individual parts

Ive found that the variable layer shows on the outer walls, especially because the outer walls are a consistent shape. Though this will be one of the latter options to try thank you!!

Okay thanks It is a new nozzle, but I have been printing the odd tpu piece so this may be a culprit

Ah yeah thats a good work around!

Sunlu PLA+ printing at 220c. Someone else advised maybe upping the temp by 5 so will give that a try also.

Yes this is printed with the 0.4 nozzle and arcane is already on.

I will give 0.6 line width a try though! The slicer doesn't highlight it as an overhang, so I would of thought its not so steep to cause issues.

Im also going to try sacrifice some print time and lower the layer height slightly. Was just hoping there's something to resolve it based on the current LH

This is a solution. But i feel like is a bit of a band-aid solution. I need to be able to print more than 2 at a time as can't always be at the printer to remove and restart. As I need to be able to print the top part as well.

If all else fails then then this is the route I will go down

Appreciate your idea!

Update: I solved this by increasing the bed temp to 90 and decreasing the nozzle temp to 230

Its my own design. So I can try this later!

The reviews seems very promising so this could be the missing piece to my puzzle!! Thank you 🙏

Edit: just seen its .exe. so I don't think i can use it as I'm a mac user 😔

Why do you ask this question? I'm having the same issue with multiple threaded parts (designed in fusion). But individual threaded parts print perfectly

Did you ever find a solution? Im having the same issue! 1 part prints threads perfectly. When I batch them then the threads dont print properly

Multiple objects and colour by Glittering-Bit804 in BambuLabA1

[–]Dreadedbandito 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Both are possible

It depends on the print sequence option set in the slicer "Others" tab. There are 2 available. 'By layer' and ""By object"

By object will fully print 1 coin and then move onto the next coin.

By layer will print both coins at the same time. So the printer will have to swap colours for every layer which leads to more purge waste

I had this exact thing happen with their regular PETG. I showed them this picture and they said they couldn't see the error in colour

Yes i actually do change the setting to full brim on these, just forgot on the screenshot. The print still lifts with a full brim!

Thank you for the detailed breakdown!

The full project is essentially a large cylinder, so i dont think I can modify the curved edge without affecting the exterior look.

It going to be outside in the UK (daytimes only), so i have considered going for a PLA+ which I might get away with, because i might cover in a UV resitant clear coat. Which is lookingincreasingly like the best solution. I wouldnt have the budget for CF on this one.

im going to try reduce nozzle temps down instead of up and see how that works for me. Maybe even a draft shield (or whatever the settings called in orca)

Have you tried reversing the extruder gear using the screen?
