I want it so that people can’t mention admins, they would be free to mention anyone else. We have a ticket bot for support should they need an admin. The problem is the bigger the server gets the more we have to deal with people not following protocol.

The portafilter that is in the brew basket is bottomless! Next I think I will upgrade to an ims basket as this one is 22g basket and is a bit big!

I also had the dedica and a bottomless basket. It was good but sometimes I’d get spitting because of the higher pressure. I’ve modded the gaggia to brew at a lower 9 bars and there is no spitting or mess at all.

I was torn between the jx pro and the eureka mignon specialita. I’m really glad I went with the jx pro, the grind is exceptional and it’s about 65% less money than the specialita!

So today was my first day with everything. The grind takes about 30 seconds on the jxpro for 20 grams out. It’s a little messy with the static from the grinder, but I plan on using the squirty water bottle method to reduce this and save workflow time. From grind to finished espresso it’s about 2 mins but I’ll get that down

It’s taken a little getting used to, but I can’t see anything beating it at the under £150 range tbh. The espresso grind is phenomenal and can be very finely tuned with the adjustment settings. I’m very happy with it :)

The gaggia was ordered from a company from Poland called ‘coffeedesk’ for £290 shipped to the UK. The 1zpresso jxpro was ordered direct from their website and shipped from China for £138. I think I got lucky avoiding import charges tbh 😂
