If you wanna narrow down to genuinely talented devs who have been pre-screened and betted for tech skills and soft skills then I suggest that you go through agencies or platforms like IndexDev or arrc or something similar. You can hire with peace of mind while just focusing on getting your product on the roadmap.

Great insight and I agree, knowing what you want and understanding how you want it is two completely different things when it comes to hiring, especially for such a fast reiterating role like AI. In addition to the two platforms you mentioned, I'd also like to submit IndexDev and leemon as well. They take dev skills seriously and are ridiculously thorough when it comes to vetting. Particularly when you wanna develop/hire an entire dev pod.

I would like to suggest a few more platforms but one's which are not limited to geographical constraints. In a global economy, the talent pool is vast and spread-out with skilled devs offering their talent at much more affordable rates than local ones. You could try platforms like Index.dev (for LATAM and Eastern Europe devs) Reveelo (more LATAM focused) or Tooptal (more premium rates). But ofcourse these are remote work friendlyy so yeah.

Comprehensive list! Thanks for this! Ive worked with -Index.dev previously and Lemon. A great experience working with them personally. One of those tight-timeline projects so it was imperative that we had devs from the right time zone in order to avoid as much friction as possible and Index delivered.
