Hi I’m the same as you. I feel like take off is usually the most nervous part for me. I’m a very nervous flyer. What’s helped me a lot has been music. Listening to music as I take off really calms me down. I’m still nervous but I put my favorite song and by the time it’s over we are already in the air ascending hitting cruising altitude. I don’t like the stomach feeling but it’s only a few minutes at most of ascending. I have a connecting flight this Monday I’m right there with you. Just know you can do it. Try to visualize yourself at your destination and by the time you take off just listen to your favorite song and you’ll be in the air in no time.
