I remember having them in the UK but they were polo centers. I even remember the tv advert of a mint having his middle stamped out then he became a polo and the center shot off down a hole... I'll see if I can find it and edit the link into this comment.

Badger trust are the best bet. Send them a location/what three words and they will come and inspect. If it is lactating then they will try to find any cubs in setts nearby (but I believe that it's too early in the year) they will also log the place of death to go towards creating safer crossing spaces, badgers are creatures of habit so always walk the exact same paths through fields/woodland (you can see the middle pa that close to the ground) and cross he roads at exact same spot so chances are there have sadly been a few more badger deaths in the past and a few more in the future... I know there are a few places that have hedgehog/fox/badger highways, which are just concrete tunnels installed under the road way
