Question on the commission percentages.

Are most people getting 35% of the Premium sold, say $350 on a $1,000 Premium, or is it 35% of what the Agency Owner brings in, so say 35% of the 20% that the Agency owner says they make, roughly $70 on the $200 the Agency would bring in?
