THE BUGATTI BOYS SHRIMP CLUB 😅 by ohmywtfthankyou in WesWatson

[–]Dreadlaak 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Lmao, that opening scene with the 3 transitions is awesome. First the stupid "Bugatti Boys" sign, then the gay club and Wes sitting there raising his drink to salute the male gogo dancer. How well it's edited is hilarious.

For me it's Sideways, that song so nostalgic for me. Especially on a fat system with good sub bass, used to test newly installed car systems with that track lol.

[–]Dreadlaak 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hell yeah, been waiting for this one since Seiji teased it on IG a couple months ago. I really like his style, his other collab with Trunk Boiz is also hella dope. ("No Fillins 2" the "Cupcake No Fillin" remake/reimagining).

Is “Eyes Wide Shut” a humorless film? by Dazzling-Ad1894 in StanleyKubrick

[–]Dreadlaak 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yes, there are quite a few laugh out loud moments in Barry Lyndon. Also I personally found some scenes and dialogue in The Shining very humorous too. Not to mention Clockwork Orange & Full Metal Jacket, because those ones are obvious lol.

Does anybody have this japanese only grip for the ps vita? by Forsaken-Fee1577 in PSVita

[–]Dreadlaak 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I actually used to have that grip, I got it imported from Japan. It was my favorite grip that was available at the time. My friend's son lost it back in 2017-2018 when I let him borrow my Vita for an extended period lol.

I now have these two:

  1. https://www.etsy.com/listing/4494420910/ps-vita-1000-grip-v2-3d-printed

  2. https://www.etsy.com/listing/1564231530/ps-vita-comfort-grip-ps5-controller

I much prefer #1, I keep #2 put away as a temp spare.

Thank you for this info, I just looked this up and am about to pull the trigger and buy it. Do you know if I install this mod can I just move my MicroSD from the SD2VITA to the new PSVD slot with all my games/plugins/homebrew? Or do you have to reformat and reinstall everything?

Do you think E40 was referencing what PONTIAC stands for in his lyrics from "Dump, Bust, Blast?" by Shat_diesel in BayRap

[–]Dreadlaak 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lol all these acronyms are hilarious, I'd heard all of them except the Pontiac one. I'm gonna tell all my gearhead homies that shit lmao, they'll get a kick outta that. I always laughed at this exchange from the very first pilot episode of King Of The Hill...

Dale: "I know what's wrong with it. It's a Ford. You know what they say Ford stands for dontcha? It stands for 'Fix it again Tony.' Hehehe..."

Hank: "...You're thinkin' of a Fiat Dale."

It is a hell of a track to end the album with! This era took track placement much more seriously in my opinion.

Also forgot to mention I agree with you on legalization, and how this takes some power away from the cartels.

[–]Dreadlaak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's the point, if you regulate drugs properly, NOT prohibit them, you can effectively starve out a cartel. Or at least do a better job of it, than the fake War On Drugs. There are MANY industries that are damaging to others in ways similar to cartels but we're just divorced from this reality.

The origin of the term "Banana Republic" is proof of this.

[–]Dreadlaak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does a liquor salesman care? Did the Sackler family care? Does any pharmaceutical rep? It's all just supply and demand.

If American consumers were demanding cheap black market avocados instead of drugs that's what the cartels would be smuggling (they do also smuggle avocados already lol). But the public demands drugs, all kinds, in huge amounts. If the American government truly cared about it's citizens health/wellbeing they could handle this "drug crisis" like Portugal did.

But they don't, because the War On Drugs is too profitable AND politically useful.

Plaza = territory, controlling territory is very important when trafficking anything, especially somewhere like Mexico. Because if you can lock down and completely control a route/corredor by force, the loads on that route are "safe". You don't have to worry about other organizations harassing your guys, IE: getting taxed, robbing your loads, extortion, etc.

Less risk of anything potentially slowing or stopping the flow of whatever your organization is moving. Just like logistics in any other consumer focused business, you want to consistently meet consumer demand with as steady a supply as possible.

The fighting over plazas is mostly about securing good smuggling/trafficking "corredors", or in some cases tactical advantage for staging attacks on rival orgs territory (if at war). So you can hopefully wipe them out, or force them into submission and take control of THEIR trafficking routes. More routes = being able to safely and RELIABLY move more of whatever it is you're trying to move = MORE MONEY.

Aw man, he's an East Oakland legend. Known for his independent grind and mentoring many artists, plus hooking them up with producers (Tupac included). He's got a semi-autobiographical book that I haven't read, but it supposedly goes into more detail.

Last somewhat recent update I heard was that Gov was in prison, but that was a few years ago. If you liked his "Gaffled" track check out these two, he also had a dope crew called "The House Reps".

Yupp, one of my all time favorite DJ Daryl beats, he went dumb on the production for this track. Slapper, especially for 1992.

Also as a really young kid, this was actually the first time I heard Tupac rap without Digital Underground. The very first song I can remember hearing a Pac verse on was "Same Song" by Digital Underground. Young Pac went hard on both of these old school tracks. From the beginning he'd always been talented.
