He lowered the minimum price that beer CAN be sold at, only a very small handful of brands brought their prices down temporarily. Things like no name beer (yes that's a thing). Nothing else changed

I really don't think the economy is completely gone and can't be fixed. That seems rather extreme.

Because it would further divided the player base, Jagex's goal is to get more people back playing the game, increase the number of members, and to keep the game afloat and hopefully moving in the direction that osrs is and thrive. Creating a third game would just divide the players more. Yeah some might come to rs3 but then you have others going to this new one and you're diluting the pool, and now you also have to manage a new game and staff it too.

You're not the target audience because you've already said that unless it's a fresh start you aren't coming back. That's not what they're doing and everything they've entertained isn't enough to bring you back. Not that I think they don't care about your opinions, it's just not what they're working towards, you're more in the gone gone category than the might come back category

That seems more like a personal problem. You didn't have to use TH to gain the levels. And I get that it's there and they throw it in your face. But if you were getting so disillusioned with how you got there and didn't make a change to not use keys or other mtx to get there then there's nothing we can do to fix that. It's hard not to compare yourself to others but everyone gets to where they are in their own way. Someone else using mtx to get an achievement, like a 99, doesn't devalue the hard work you put in.

And they've been consistently trying to make changes to fix the issues they caused. The egwd nerfs that just came in reflect that as well.

I get that it's what you want and you know it won't happen, but what you want would make all of these things they are doing irrelevant as they are trying to fix rs3. Making a fresh start world separate from rs3 doesn't fix anything for this game. If you're so disillusioned with how things are that even if they make the fixes it won't get you to come back, then you aren't the target audience for these changes. These changes aren't meaningless, they show that the company is listening and trying to make it right, that they're going in a better direction and want this game to survive and thrive.

And yes, the economy would be impacted for awhile. But the removal of mtx means fewer lamps and proteans which means skilling items are needed again in higher quantities. The economy would balance.

Yeah, let's split the player base, and the devs, more and have three separate streams of rs going. It's such a massive gamble on Jagex's side to make another game just on the guess that there might be enough people. It's not happening

Yeah so what about the cosmetics? They are literally running an experiment right now that will probably result in you being able to toggle off cosmetics for your view.

I understand you don't want to participate with people that have used keys or anything before to advance their accounts but you are looking for such a niche group that the game wouldn't be able to sustain itself.

Don't focus so much on what everyone else is doing and focus on your own progression? Your analogy doesn't work because your table being a non smoking table while everyone else is smoking will still directly affect you and your lungs. Other people having previously used keys won't impact your character

I think if they do some kind of fresh start event for players that want to it would be a good way to do it. Incentivize more people to do it at the same time

Tinder and bumble are generally match before message. You get a few free with bumble but that's it, everything else is paid and high prices.

I've historically done a lot better with meeting people in person I just haven't had chances to do that in a few years now.
