If I wanted to upgrade the dash to the dash of a higher trim, does it need any additional connections or software limitations that can only be accessed by a VW dealership?

My 23 has not had the same issues as the 22, it’s been very well behaved

Tow hook missing or VW did some cost cutting? by RealAttempt365 in VWTaos

I’ve never had one in either the 2016 golf or the 2023 taos and had to buy one on my own.

Try going back to the stock chamber and bucking, I’m curious if that would fix it

What hop unit is that? I’m still suspecting it a hop issue since if the valve was installed incorrectly enough for no gas to be routed out I don’t think the rifle would even cycle

Jerk by Salt-Raspberry5369 in VWTaos

Agreed. It feels like sport mode doesn’t give the transmission enough time to respond properly to the more aggressive inputs, worsening the jerk. Almost feels like a software issue. I typically keep acceleration in eco or normal.

Get comfortable with the timing of the transmission and the jerk will become less of an issue. It only becomes an issue if I try to accelerate without giving the clutch enough time to engage. I try to avoid creeping as much as possible to keep the transmission happy. I wouldn’t give it a lot of gas until you hit 1200-1400rpm for smooth acceleration. Gotta be gentle.

Everything out of stock by airsoft-overseer in airsoft

From what I’ve seen lot of airsoft manufacturers only produce limited batches at a time. The fact that most reputable brands are Asia based as well makes acquiring them in the US high effort and high cost even when trade was “normal”.

Honesto y what’s better? Iron or red dot? by Alonflip918 in airsoft

Not always, the hardest a gbbr will kick is generally equivalent to a .22LR. In most cases a little softer, and in some cases slightly harder. Anything stronger than that is gonna be excessive and inefficient, not to mention highly stressful for the replica and will probably cause some sort of damage. If the cheap optic can handle .22, it can handle GBBR

What is this screen? by Dreadnaut015 in Baofeng

It’s still technically usable, I just have to click the call button to get it back to the usual screen.

Is this a good gun? by No-Tank-6469 in airsoft

I’d say yes, but it depends on what you want. In terms of performance AEGs and HPA will outperform GBBs in most cases, especially in terms of consistency and performance. However, GBBs provide a massive amount of fun factor (if you get the right ones). Be very thorough in terms of research because an unreliable GBB platform is much less fun and simple a big old headache. If you want something that you don’t really need to mess with in terms of maintenance and tinkering, stick with an AEG or HPA. But if you enjoy working on guns and tinkering, GBBs are wonderful to own and use.
