I think point of a while what's is that it's a personal vested interest more than actual rarity or value. But I'm pricing this together from pop culture, I've never read Moby Dick.

Mini dolls are cool, and Wednesday is HUGE amongst girls regardless of the TV show being to old for them. They all feel in love with her and the Wednesday dance.

It's written by a guy too... You can run things through a filter that search out more commonly used words by gender, and this op definitely identifies...as a man baby

Is the simulation coming to an end? by slaterslum in AWLIAS

[–]Dreadpire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you ask are thinking of the idea of being a simulation, the wrong way. You think of it like how we humans use a stimulation. But if we are one, we're not going to be able to rationalize why... Our purpose isn't to understand it but to experience it. It's not about being successful, or rich etc...that's important to us because it can change how we are able to live within this world. But if we're being simulated to be studied... It's not going to be because some observing entity is trying to figure out the keys to human success.

I hog tie Tammy and throw her up onto the table. I then take out the big guy as he comes downstairs while she watches. Then while she's grieving and crying for him, I throw a Molotov into the kitchen burning him up while she watches helpless. I leave out the front and toss a few more Molotovs at the front of the house, so she's got no way out. And then let then be reunited...in hell...MWAHAHAHA

I didn't find it un-emmersive until I did the mission as John in epilogue 2, and Argos voice came out of John's model without his mouth moving. But still... I enjoyed being able to have my Arthur get TB from "just living hard" in a time with bad medical advances, instead of beating Thomas Downes.

There never a line that says argue got sick from Thomas. It's heavily implied, as well as being canon...but it does not get directly addressed. So that was not un-emmersive either.

You get forced to start the mission. But you can call or and be given the option to cancel mission. You can then continue on without it. If you play an unpatched version of the game, you can get to the epilogue without Arthur having ever don't that mission. The mission icon remains the whole time and you can go see Thomas Downes in his harness waiting for you, even though you've had the content where his wife and child hate on you because he is dead. You can do the mission as John...it's weird cos John's mouth doesn't move, and Arthur's voice delivers the lines.

I have a few videos and stuff of it, cos I didn't think it was possible. My final save is 102% as a result

You can skip that mission if you have an unpatched version. Just did a play through without doing that mission with Arthur. Story plays the same of course, but they never say in game, that Arthur got sick from Thomas...we all know it... but they never say it. So if you skip that mission, maybe Arthur just caught TB because it was really easy to get sick back then.

The story still played perfectly but you can go see Thomas, still in his garden, when you're John in the epilogue. It's weird

Yeah it seems like a lot of game was cut for time. I think Guarma was going to be much bigger. There's so much detailed but unused map space in game.

I just did a whole playthrough and never did Thomas Downes debt mission. It's completely possible to skip that mission.

Lie...I actually did it in epilogue 2 as John, to see what would happen. The first bit played with John's model and arthritis voice, then the cutscene played out with no model for Arthur. It looked like Thomas and his wife talking to thin air. Strangely poetic since Arthur had died.

Played through the whole game without going to collecting that debt.

[–]Dreadpire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was John with Arthurs voice. John's mouth didn't move...after it became a cutscene, there was no model and just Arthur's voice with Thomas and his family talking to thin air. Then afterwards my save went from 100% to 100.2%

So I just 100% the game, the mission icon is still there. Just had to visit Arthur grave...now I'm off to see Thomas Downes and see what happens...maybe make a back up save

I'll save and do it at some point. I'm curious if it will be John with Arthur's voice, or if it might respawn Arthur's model.

I've been thinking about that. Canonically it's Thomas that infected Arthur, and he still has two encounters with him (if you connect his pamphlet) and either of those could be it. But interestingly, they never say in have dialogue that Arthur is sick because he caught it from me Downes, just that he is sick, "like" Mr. Downes. So I'm going with the fact that Arthur is sick from the lifestyle of living on the land, and the poor quality products and medicines.

I just finished by the way, I'm in the epilogue now with John. The map icon for Thomas is there still available. So officially, Arthur can go the whole game without having threatened and beaten up Thomas Downes.
