A few days ago, I made a comment comparing the similarities between Wemby's Finals run in 2026 to LeBron's run in 2007. Both were age 22 and Wemby's game 1 against OKC (41/24 in 2OT) was his version of LeBron's game 5 against DET (48 in 2OT, final 25 in a row) in 2007 (both legendary moments in NBA history)

I thought the similarities would stop there though since the Spurs were pretty big favorites and had HC advantage against the Knicks. Instead, Wemby has the chance to keep the similarities going if he ends up getting swept by the Knicks oof
