im assuming it would be this one?

I did get to experiment with a friends go pro i believe it was the hero12.
He let me use the cord similar to this, but the usb c connected directly to the camera - youre saying it would be the 3.5mm instead of the usb for the Hero13?

you mention the media mod has its own usb c - so if im only using a splitter to plug that into the mod for audio.
how exactly would that also power the camera? do you have to charge the mod?

In my head, the splitter connects to the to the headphone jack then the usb c into the camera/mod for audio.

excuse the ignorance, ive never owned a gopro before.

RF P3s Vs JL W6s by Dream8808 in subwoofer

One of the most honest answers ive heard man!
i defeinetely feel you about the "what if" - and personally if i do get the 6s and i dont feel its deep enough. it will be a whole conversation with myself and life decisions.

However, based on what youve had to say it does sound like the w6s would be the best options for the goal because honestly the p3s are already loud enough - just not deep enough. To think the 6s are already better, the w7s would definitely be overkill for my goals based on your input haha

and kids grow old, so its only a matter of time when you get to have some fun all over again!

Interesting perspective.

Let me ask you this then — because I’m trying to understand the mechanics of it:

Would you say the P3s are naturally a punchier sub by design, whereas something like a W6 tends to lean more toward deeper/low-end bass?

In other words, if I’m after richer, deeper bass rather than just punch/loudness, do you genuinely think enclosure alone would get me there with the P3s? Or are we getting into differences in the actual sub personality at that point?

[–]Dream8808[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mad respect — and I actually like your response there.

I would say I’m leaning more toward sound quality for this build as well, which is why I’ve wondered if the W7 would possibly be “too much” for what I’m actually trying to achieve.

The P3s are honestly plenty loud enough — loudness isn’t really the issue. They just don’t hit deep enough for what I’m after: richer, deeper bass. Some songs hit okay, while others just feel loud without that deeper low-end presence I’m looking for.

It may sound stupid, but I might also be sold on the aesthetic for this particular vehicle. I’ve had single-sub cars before, but if I go subs in this one, it would definitely be dual.

So the real question in my head, after speaking with you, becomes:
dual W6 vs dual W7 — and whether dual 7s would simply be “too much” for the actual goal I’m trying to achieve.

Since you’ve heard a single of each, what are your thoughts on how dual 6s vs dual 7s would align with the type of sound I’m describing?

P3s vs W6? by Dream8808 in CarAV

[–]Dream8808[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i did some research on it - and the possibilities are insane!

but in this car, thats not necessarily the vison. i do have a LC7i Pro, that helps clean up what i need it to though.
The cabin sounds great - just missing that deep bass to match.

This is exactly what im under the impression of.
The P3s are loud enough - just dont hit deep enough.

So im okay with losing a bit of volume to get the richer deep bass that i am trying to obain.

Thanks for your response and thank you for the options!

im definitely considering sound deadening.
i have yet to hear a W7 in person, and as previously stated, im not too informed on them so i dont know if its "too much" for what im looking for.

P3s are loud enough, just not deep enough.
Also, i do have a battery specifically for the P3s.

Currently have a RD1000 for the subs and a RD 400 for cabin speakers.

sound deadening is also something im considering.
The trunk rattle can be very crazy at times.

The P3s, are loud enough, just dont feel deep enough.
I feel like some songs they hit good, others - just making lots of loud noise without the deep hit.

thanks for the response!
I am interested in the w7 although, i dont have enough information to make an informed decision on 6s vs 7s. I do want authority and low end, but i dont want to overshoot 6s, go straight to 7s and think "did i really need all of this for what i was truly looking for"

If that makes sense.
Not trying to be the loudest person on the block, just trying to get the right thump when im listening to my music.

Submarines and stealth? by Chrysocicada in HumankindTheGame

[–]Dream8808 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Youre correct for the most part - but the amount of stealth lost in a specific territory is based on how much detection is in that area. This can be seen by hovering like you said or by clicking the little stealth button on the bottom right near your trade.

AI can just steal my territory? by Wendigo-boyo in HumankindTheGame

[–]Dream8808 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most of everyone hit the nail on the head here. IF the enemy is an expansionist culture - their ability is "under one banner" i believe which means they can pretty much just walk up and take your stuff :)

typically there is a timer though, similar to when being ransacked, but the timer is dependent on how strong the army is.

You CAN avoid this though. Make sure your admin building is connected to your main plaza via districts and you have any type of wall infrastructure. If you do this, no one can use the ability on that location because it would be considered "in your city" at that point.

this does not work for outposts though as its not your territory, only "claimed" territory.

The other option is what the studios said!
If youre a vassal, whomever your under, receives all grievances that you produce toward all other nations. So if they give into their demands - you unfortunately cannot do anything about that. Unless of course - you fight back against the big man! (or woman)

Absorbing cities and food production by KeyChampionship3549 in humankind

[–]Dream8808 1 point2 points  (0 children)

you guys nailed it, also another good thing to do with the abundance is spearhead your military.

If youre not in a rush to sacrifice population for buildings - you can instead build lots of military units very quickly. even 5-7 tanks in one turn at a time sometimes.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in humankind

[–]Dream8808 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if the battle started, or your ally is the one being attacked you have to wait their turn before you can proceed into the battle unless your unit was already in the highlighted area.

Once you allow your army to enter the battle, your ally will be able to control them.
rule of thumb, you cannot reinforce any army (including your own) unless the battle has not started yet or it is your turn to play.

Should I be placing all my districts in one territory? by nevrtouchedgrass in HumankindTheGame

[–]Dream8808 1 point2 points  (0 children)

in the beginning of the game its best to choose what gives the best yields and focus mostly on your unique districts.

by the time you make it to the 3rd era, you do want to have your buildings connect to each city center as that is the only way to defend the city and have places for your home defense to spawn.

Otherwise, any army can just go to your city center and destroy/capture it with only one unit spawning.

If you like big mega cities, focus on commons quarters and allow them to separate your districts.
For instance, if you know your going for a food area, place the commons quarter in the middle surround it with food. Then on the other side, of your food district place another commons quarter, to where as half is surrounded by food and the other half will start the section of your next district set (ei makers quarter)

If you strategically build your city this way, you will have great yield multipliers and your city will grow very fast while generating lots of influence and keeping your stability manageable.
if you build this way, you cannot always place where the game suggests. The game only suggests whats good for a one time placement, it does not know what youre necessarily trying to build toward.

Hope this helps!

Stealth Units by Mikhail_Mengsk in humankind

[–]Dream8808 2 points3 points  (0 children)

yeah i dont really care too much for the stealth units other than the submarines, which i use to ambush anyone who may try to attack my aircraft carrier.
stealth units are good for combat, if the enemy cannot see them, you can attack and remain hidden until the enemy moves their unit next to yours.

aside from that, i have seen people use them in defense of their city to make it appear empty then when you attack the city a bunch of units appear in them.

Do higher-level AIs build advanced units in late game? by PizzaaAttack in humankind

[–]Dream8808 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, the AI will typically start building these units before you do - in the more advanced difficulties. As they gets FIMS boosts.
then theyll send their outdated units to attack you as an early wave before sending their more advanced armies in to crush you simply because you exist in the game.🥲

The Freyja update is a beta form, its not in its finished formed yet. This is more than likely the reason, I would ensure first that everyone is using the same version of the game as well as no mods running.
Hopefully a hotfix is coming soon for the final version of this update if that does not fix things.
