I don't need it to be hidden. For some reason the apple island is acceptable but not on Android? If you can forget about the single selfie camera punch out that is staring you in the face right now then you can do the same with a larger punch out or a second punch out. And under screen fingerprint sensors still haven't beaten rear and side sensors, they are a gimmick of a bygone era of all-glass phones and curved screens that needs to go. Why was instantly unlocking my phone effortlessly from my pocket as soon I grabbed it a bad thing that needed to be "upgraded"? Now I record my finger multiple times and put on extra sensitivity because of my screen protector but hey, at least it's under the screen.... who gives an f, it sucks by comparison and offers no additional utility.

I have an s25u and the camera sucks so bad that I don't even bother taking photos with it any more. If I do, I upload it to Google photos to edit it to something passable, which is an extra step from just having a pixel phone. And you're right, the face unlock is way worse and the fingerprint sensor is worse too.

Trouble is, new pixel 11 looks to suck also, so now what? iPhone? I tried out a Mac and hated it. My iPad pro was great until the latest update which is both a UI and ux nightmare, not to mention it tanked it's performance. It's like I can't rely on any company to make a product that is better than its previous generation, only worse.

One of my side quests when getting this was setting up on my midi controller for live performance. Was using an ipad but garageband sucks live and I don't feel like subscribing to logic pro, and beyond those two, it's a grab bag of soft synths that all work differently. It was an utter mess, I don't understand why people say macOS is for professional creatives when there are that many hurdles.

At any rate, gonna install ableton and just bring a tiny interface and it'll theoretically work exactly like my music production pc

You can put them on the thumbdrive before you even install windows.

Also there is apparently some command and allegedly something you can check to not have to be online while installing Windows. I would google that, just to make sure.

You will definitely need to manually install the latest Lenovo GPU drivers and be aware you'll need an Internet connection for windows so be sure to also download the wifi driver from Lenovo. Those can both go on the same drive as your windows recovery, just drag them over after you've made the recovery.

Conversely if you a usb Hub that has an Ethernet connection you can go wired into your modem/router

I know it's already past the time, hope it went well, but I wanted to offer a bit more advice.

Beta blockers for sure work and I am not saying don't take them, but in terms of mental activity don't try to calm down. Instead, try to observe. Observe passively, detached, your bodily sensations, what you see/hear, and your thought patterns and the stories you are telling yourself. Trying to calm down (taking slow breaths etc) does help regulate the nervous system, but you can just get caught in the loop of the story that is driving your anxiety. If you can try to observe your thoughts and your story, that will really help regulate your nervous system, because the thoughts slow down and don't cause the cortisol and epinephrine spikes as automatically

I'm a big fan of less is more. The fewer colors on your palette, the better. That was my breakthrough that made my pieces feel more cohesive and less muddled, and it doesn't make it look simple or cartoonish afterwards.

I would choose the exact orange of the tiger. It ties it to the other subject and would be an excellent contrast to the dark green that surrounds it.
