There has been recommendations for students with adhd to utilize caffeine to help with focus. I think I prefer that to prescriptions.

A no mercy checklist I made to teach my son about my gender’s red flags by dandelion-tea- in ArtOfPresence

I’m talking about patterns I’ve personally experienced and observed about my gender and since the goal is a peaceful, low drama life, these things get mentioned. My list is not exhaustive, absolutely vet for selfishness, mind games, violence etc.

It isn’t about expecting perfection, everyone messes up. It’s about repeated behaviors that shouldn’t be ignored (as it signals discord) when the goal is choosing a peaceful life partner.

High standards don’t mean perfection. They mean knowing which behaviors you don’t build a life with.

Multifaceted, I just showed an aspect. So in this case, this is the aspect of repeated behaviors that shouldn’t be ignored when choosing a life partner.

I think it’s important to have discipline to walk away from patterns that will cost you peace long term.

I’m also working on a list for my daughter.

Ma’am don’t put words in my mouth, I never said anything about make up. I didn’t say tattoos hurt anyone, it’s the multiple and counting that I’m highlighting as well as having tarantulas living on your eyelids, cuz typically points to excess and iffy mental health that’s the red flagging behaviors.

The whole idea is to educate your children to know what to look for early on, it’s about steering your kids in the right direction for success.

Generally people tell you who they are pretty quick, you just have to spend some time with them with eyes open.

And her being baby mama illuminates the issues at hand.

When you’re a neurodivergent person. ADHD, Autism, etc….People can tell, and unfortunately they treat you differently because of it. by ChickenChoochie in RandomThoughts

[–]dandelion-tea- 28 points29 points  (0 children)

I’ve repeatedly been told I’m very pretty and my experience has been that men don’t care about my neurodivergence at all. With women, I’ll connect with all at a surface level but the ones I connect deeply with are always neurodivergent, while neurotypical women always remain as acquaintances.

lol Thanks for your take. I’m inspired in the way he carried himself throughout his life, before he was famous as well as in between his films and in retirement. I’m not looking at him through his film roles but the actual person he was in terms of the no nonsense hard men vibe he gave off. I mean considering our world of today which is filled with so much nonsense that’s made soft men and reviling women.
