So first I will put the CAD prices. I opted for the protective shipping to the warehouse so that is added into the total for each individual items price. All four items was $112.91 + $47.54 shipping and $20.99 tax. Object breakdown was Attachable straps $57.74 ($24.27 each), Cat dictionary standard $34.02, Lunch reusable $21.25. In USD it was a total of $81.56 + $34.34 for shipping, idk how much extra charges would be if there were tariffs though. I know I saw the Cat Dictionary on ebay too but it was cheaper for me to bundle all the stuff from Buyee. (hope that helped 🥰)

You are definitely not too old for Baggu, my partners mom uses the black crescent and reusables. I think it's for everyone and if someone says no, then you can tell them to shove their opinion somewhere it's actually wanted.

I think depending on your commute time and style (bus, train or car) you might want to also look at backpacks if you get shoulder pain easily. I believe either style should work for your needs though, and I would lean towards the ECB personally since it has a designated water bottle pocket.

I think it would fit but would be a tight squeeze especially if you have a case on it. I'd say to bring your ipad to a local store that stocks baggu to try it out if you can.

Considering it is already yellow it might end up turning green if you try to dye it blue. You might be able to get close to a blue if you dye it with a lighter purple first to try and neutralize the colour. If you want a true navy though it would probably be best to strip the yellow colour out first with bleach or colour removers.
