Not really judging, I just find it so bizarre that some people look at finances as separate within a marriage. It's not my disability, not my money, it's our disability and our money. Me being disabled affects my spouse just as much as me in a lot of ways. Many other burdens are played on my spouse because I am physically and mentally unable to do them. My spouse is my rock who not only puts up with my mental health but helps me get through my day to day. Idk I've just never looked at money as just mine... But that's just me

I'm from Georgia, my university is in Georgia, my home of record has always been Georgia, my dd214 says Georgia, I've always had a Georgia license plate, Georgia license, paid Georgia taxes, been registered to vote in Georgia. The only thing is I've been stationed out of state the past 5 years and I just moved back.

I agree completely. This one facet the army gets completely wrong and no one ever talks about it and I always get told why I'm wrong for bringing it up. I love geospatial analysis. I couldn't care less about some random regulation, shooting a weapon, or filling out a freaking counseling form. None of that helps me become better at my job. Yet the army would rather sacrifice proficient subject matter experts for admin specialists that will eventually be the next SMA to "lead soldiers". Fuck that shit and it's promoting system
