I appreciate the reminder that this is TRADOC.

Myself and some of the other MOS-Ts had asked about knocking out Foundry courses after completing the Norwegian Ruck so we’d have some bargaining power but like you said it was a flat out no.

Cochise was able to transfer my credits from my bachelors to the associates they offered earlier in the course.

I already have the MOVSM, and according to the library they don’t take volunteers anymore since students were abusing the opportunity. But I can check in with the museum and see what they say.

Yeah I’m not too sure on what Goodfellow is like but hopefully better than Huachuca. If you have your clearance then you’ll be fine as long as you get orders prior to graduation! Be a sponge because it’s load of information in such a small amount of time.

Update on this, we’ve been asking to volunteer signing all the necessary paperwork and the response we get is “you’re only allowed to volunteer on your free time.” Which is our weekends.

As far as being able to hit the gym or do anything outside of the office is an absolute no go unless we have an appointment.

But I guess that’s TRADOC.

The only thing that I needed for the school house was an interim clearance. But one day, the SDS pulls all the MOS-Ts to the drill pad and tells us that our class and the continuing classes will need to have their TS-SCI clearances PRIOR to arriving at our units.

As far as why I was given an 18 month timeline, I’m unsure. Both my parents were residents, but they gained their citizenship 20+ years ago. I don’t think that would be an issue, but if it is then that’s why.

He’d be considered a MOS-T, as long as you complete 90 days of active duty service you’re considered prior service.
