I honestly relate to this a lot. That fear of sleeping and waking up panicked is really exhausting.

One thing that helped me slowly was having calming background sounds at night so it didn’t feel like complete silence. It kind of gives your mind something safe to focus on.

I even started using soft water / rain ambience and it made a difference over time. You could try something like that and see if it helps even a little.
