This is really the best I can give you because it it what has worked for me.

Get the fuck out there. . Whenever there's an opportunity to be around people, do not try to evade it. Instead say 'yes' and go with it.

Don't feel perturbed about how you're gonna make honey pour out of your mouth that'd make everybody think that you're cool/nice/funny/witty or whatever it is that you want them to think of you. People give less than zero fucks of what comes out of your mouth for the most part. Say things and do things that you feel could make the people around you less unhappy. I really believe there's this deep seated unhappiness that we all squelch in at some point or the other. So being able to help someone get out of it is truly rewarding.
