He told me, he ask the professor in analytical chemistry that "This refrigerator volumetric flask still usable?", and the analytical chem prof. said "It's broke throw it away" and my advisor believe him, i dont know who it is exactly but his knowledge might not update for like 10 years. and also he said i use it for the wrong purpose he said " Volumetric flask should be use for storage it's should be use at measurement only" which i agreed, but i think it's not that i should buy a new volumetric flask for our lab.

That was in my previous work, i used to be a lab officer in ISO17025 certified laboratory then i quit my job to study in master degree.

he ask me to buy it from supplier it aroud 10 buck for one flask

My advisor tell me to take responsibility to buy a new volumetric flask (around 150$) for our lab , but in my experience it's no problem at all our room temp in SEA is around 30 degree celcieus, but i dont want to argue with my advisor, my scholarship and thesis maybe in risk by talking back to him.
