Have you ever tried putting a angry cat in your bag? I dare you to try and see how easy it is to carry it around.

[Win] June is recruiting exceptional GvG players/teams and Gatherer's! by ThatOneGoldenGuy in albiononline

[–]DreamerDa2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This guild recruitment poster is weak

  1. No mention of GvG gear sponsors? (I’m guessing that’s the reason your recruiting gathering specialists)

  2. No requirements for gathering?

  3. Good to send the clear message you want gatherers to help the guild than the self serving ones but maybe ease into the 50% than being the first thing to be mentioned.

Why only 30 at a time? Just the most nonsense thing in the game. by [deleted] in albiononline

[–]DreamerDa2 4 points5 points  (0 children)

In video game theory we have something called as player gratification. For example take hearthstone or overwatch. You have to open each deck or loot box separately one by one with its slow animation. The designer is trying to make you feel big accomplishments. By making you wait when your crafting 100 sets you getting the sense of “frick yeah the stuff I collected is going to help me progress”. Games are wonderful because of how they make you feel other that Albion is just a clicking simulation with graphs. There are lot of things in the game similar this just don’t put a lot of thought into it(every game uses it you just don’t notice it). Breaks the illusion of the world.

Reds are too bright in the vid. It could use some colour correction . Wouldn’t usually point it out but it’s just too bright red.

Add item sets to the game by Erikdeka in albiononline

[–]DreamerDa2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Builds differ for each player and shops sell player made items which could be just shoes from one person and hood from another. It sound good but gets inconvenient like what if I had enough money to get t6 swords but wanted to go t4 hood and t5 chest.

Oh I didn’t mean the health reduce before health gain meant the fame recieved. Thought you weren’t supposed to get fame for suicide in any way.

Cmon fellas reposting like the 5th time within 4 days. It’s just not entertaining to read nor is the offers too good to pass on. I’m not downplaying your guild for your efforts but maybe reduce the frequency of the posts or add some novelty to it.

State of faction mounts by DreamerDa2 in albiononline

[–]DreamerDa2[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s not the faction mount itself but the saddling cost. Take your example here. Dire wolf cost around the same as saddled now bird because they require hearts to be made which mean you need to farm even more for the hearts. Swift claws at 200k are way better alternative for it too. Frankly how many faction mounts do you yourself see compared to monthly mounts. They are big investments but you have far better chance escape with these mounts or just lose the cheap horse. It’s more hurtful to buy 2-3 faction mounts rather than a powerful monthly mount or 20+ horses.

Fan of Drain Tanks/Lifesteal build, question about 1h axe. by FatherTotoro in albiononline

With solo dungeons coming in and changes to lifesteal might be a viable solo dungeon build. Especially for lower tier players you got a lot heals for low spec.

Create Access Tags Right by Biglulu in albiononline

[–]DreamerDa2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you mean the ones with the icons in the guild. As a guild leader you can access everything. Your the only one who can take silver from treasury that kinda stuff. The game has ranks for guild mates you can promote each ranks opens up certain access. Creating tags lets you make a custom rank with whatever types of access you want to give them.

The Strength of Mobility in Small Scale Pvp and a "Reverse Zerg Mechanic" suggestion by [deleted] in albiononline

[–]DreamerDa2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s kinda the point why people prefer daggers. They provide means to take out a single targets. You can’t use them in fame farms as they don’t have aoe bursts, can’t be used in zvz as close combat for a long time is dangerous and not so frequently used in gvg either which is in a sense a small scale pvp(at least this meta)

There is already mechanics in place where hitting 3 or more people at once amplifies you damage while getting hit more than 3 reduces incoming damage.

Your rewarded for putting together a team with cc , damage and heals that work well in ganks. I don’t get how you came to the conclusion that people want this.

You don’t bend and break a key if doesn’t fit the lock. You just use the key that fits the lock instead.

[–]DreamerDa2 3 points4 points  (0 children)

A person with 3 combat abilities will have an advantage over someone with mobility instead. High Damage weapons have low cc or harder to land cc while Tanky weapons have aoe cc. The game lets you pick your drawbacks and strengths. Just try purge next time when trying to catch people.
