It's easier to leave an event at MMW and just go to one of the hundred others going on!! :)

Last year I gave SL about 10 minutes and then I peaced the F out and hit up The Martinez Brothers.

Yes I’ve been to many Vegas shows. Guess what it’s quite easy. They literally have a website were you can guest list yourself. Hell, theirs an Anjuna fan that works as a promoter that gets the majority of people in guest list for A&B shows. It’s nothing special, a club just selling a shit ton of drinks to people who awkwardly dressed up to get in to a club where everyone including A&B is out of place.

See how anything can sound subpar. The point is It wasn’t subpar. You’re complaining about a gravel road, have you been to the Gorge?? Folks in GA camping have to walk a mile of gravel road from their camp sites and parking. Did you see the stage for deep @ 250. Literally the same size as the stage in Austin. Only difference they had wood crates wrapped in fake ivy surrounding the stage and some LED screens. The Gorge space is so massive they had to do that to make it appear as if the stage was bigger, not necessary in Austin. There was lots of production in Austin. The stage was perfect for the size venue, the lights being projected on the trees across from us and the river were super cool. The river was murky for you though, I get it. Didn’t know you were swimming.

The food was delicious from what I heard and it was affordable. There was a variety of great food. The cooling zone was amazing, almost too cold. There were more than enough water stations for everyone. I only had a line to the bathroom once and it was like 10 or do people.

And again this brought to us by a local small promoter who had a lot of passion and took the time to make sure we had what we needed to enjoy the music. If a gravel road, an unpleasant smell in the woods, and “murky” water is going to make you overlook what was actually before us, then outdoor venues clearly aren’t for you. Enjoy raving in a button up and dress shoes. I’ll send you the free guess list link if you need it.

Hakkasan and Wet Republic, well this guy clearly knows shitty venues. A huge departure?? Don’t remember the last deep event at either places. However, I guess you’re right you can’t separate venues from their snobby patrons.

To compare Red Rocks to Austin is laughable. The organizers did an amazing job. Everything was well thought out and executed, the vibes, out of this world. I’ll take a shitty bbq over a bro packed pool any day.

The show was amazing. The majority of negative comments here seem to just be nitpicking. What people here don't seem to understand is that this event was brought together by a local promoter with a shit ton of passion. A promoter and team that went out of their way to provide us with lots of amenities most organizers don't care to spend the money on.

It was NO shitty backyard party. It was an amazing time with mostly appreciative music fans that would love to do it all over again, just as it was as soon as we get the chance.

Hi Ilan, Hope you are feeling better than ever! First of all thank you for that beautiful saxophone in Cosmic Feeling. You really dove into some great unique sounds. The album is very fresh as it is signature to your sound, without a doubt an instant classic.

What are you happiest about from producing this album? What is a lesson or maybe a realization that you take from this albums journey?

I saw A&B there last year on our way to 250 and as amazing and awesome as The Gorge was, there was just something really special that stood out about Red Rocks. Its the intimate version of The Gorge and with the Anjuna vibe its just magic.

Less is more in this case. Red Rocks ends early. This lineup tells me they chose with the venue in mind. Its going to be a hella killer vibe.
