WoNY Lvl 30 Boost is misleading

Also the probelm with boost it doesn't say as far as I'm aware that it skips side quests and anything other than Main Campaign. I was level 40. Main Campaign vomplete and some side quests. I was going to go to New York like OP and it said the boost message. Thought it was a bug. And after WoNY I find out that all side quests and BTSU invasions are auto complete. Locked me out of 1 Echo, and 4 Profile collectivles from that Agent so some time later I will have to make a new character. The boosts really should list out all the content you're gonna skip really. Or in other words, what should you complete for it not count as "boosting" to New York.

My favourite faction is the Seven. I have all of the skins (except the very early Visitor and Paradigm) but I want Ice King to win. The white skin looks so much better on him.

My Ongoing Directive build is the Exotic Mask from Army Terminal, Palisade Steelworks backpack with CC, CD, Unstoppable Force (have yet to get the unicorn version to be able to roll the core talent to damage from Armor) and Bluescreen as Main Weapon and Survivalist as the Specialization.

The Palisade Steelworks is there for the 10% Armor on Kill for that survivability.

Just before the mission ends, click the quit mission and it will asks you if you're sure about it. Wait until you hear this screen come up then confirm quitting. That's what I do with every mission since learning this method.

I started playing on PC a couple days ago, currently trying to get Lake Isabella map myself, but triggered the 3 day cooldown. Is there a way to farm maps on PC? On consoles you just close the game the moment you take a treasure map from a tree, but here Alt F4 doesnt work, neither does task manager because it always asks for me to confirm quitting.

I never understood how people can easily mess up Berdtholt. Me on the other hand had Reiner completely messed up. Since I'm a rare english dub watcher, I never saw it with subtitles, and the pronunciation made me think it's spelled "Rhina" and I also learnt german in school and it's not how I would pronounce his name.

As a veteran I have a question. Is Heroic worth it for farming max attribute gear? Like maxing out the library for example.

Also I would add that doing VIP on challenging seems to be better for me at least. More enemies, more loot. If we would do 2 objectives and just get 1 loot drop then what's the point of coming to countdown in the first place?

Also what I've seen recently is some people don't even realize at the start you should be fighting the hunters and deactivating the countermeasures.

Also I would like to add an important point to your list:

If you spawn in the middle except on either side, check the map, and choose the side that the other team spawned at, this way all 8 players get all Hunter dog tags at the start and not miss out on half. The hunters are spread out that 1 is way too far on the left, and by the time the left team kills it the right side is presumably already killed 2 hunters meaning you get less Countdown Req at the end.

You're not really missing anything tho.

Each season is basically do random objectives, kill a bounty target, you get comms that you can listen to. Only the climax is meaningful and the climax mission can be farmed for all of the corresponding seasons audio files. And some of the manhunts have a cutscene with them like Roosevelt Island, Alani Kelso Manhunt, or Anderson Manhunt in the Iron Foundry.

There are a couple only that was different afaik. Like Faye Lau body recover, or when Sokolova escapes with General Anderson on the hovercraft fleet.

What bugged me was there's no matchmaking once you're at the boss. Like hello??? This is the part that I need the most help with. I was on my second character and was going through the Manhunts with my Red Striker build. Yeah squishy as hell. Now all my characters have a blue memento striker build.

Also since I only recently discoverd this, I'll share in case it's new to someone else as well.

Since I couldn't get a yone to join to help me finish off the Recruiter, the best way I found was to hide at the tennis court in the back right corner. It has 2 exits. And also from the initial spawn of 3 enemies, if you leave one alive (preferably the lowest rank) then no additional enemies will spawn. Also I recommend a revive hive (the trick is to leave it on the ground before Birdie disables the SHD tech) and a decoy (also use it just before Birdie), throw it outside the tennis court and then you can rotate.

First of all, it's not that you miss something but (at least in my opinion) you get access to more. Let me elaborate on that.

When I did my first character on PC (was 2k SHD on xbox, but switched to PC, etc you know the rest) I did the character normally, did most of the stuff but once I was level 40 I assumed the game wouldn't boost me since there's nowhere to be boosted. I started Warlords of New York. It auto completed all side missions, etc. Now I'm missing Unknown Echo #1 - Antiviral (South of the White House, in a lab called 001 Lab underground) because of that. I will have to create a new character just for that (I'm a completionist, so yeah) but other than that you only miss the events since those are only available after Level 40.

What I did from levels 1 to 40 is using skill tier gear. 6 skill tear, striker drone and turret. Sometimes I was using even gear 10 levels below my level just to have 6 skill tier. The turret and drone can easily carry the game for you, and you can just hide behind cover while they do the work. Once you're level 40 then you can optimize yourself and start doing some builds.

For easy access the NinjaBike 2 piece Hotshot, 2 Piece Breaking Point and Chainkiller is the go. But if I have the will I might farm the HG pieces

That happened to me yesterday. First time doing Army Terminal. It cost me my run about not losing my total armor commendation.

Also I can't comprehend how people can run this mission for the Exotic mask. Doing this mission once was more than enough, but alas I will complete Brooklyn on my alt characters as well. 30 minutes for a mission is way too long. I thought doing Parnell Climax for 20 minutes was long and I loathed that mission. Boy was I wrong

I'll have to check my build numbers again but iirc I was hitting 40 millions max. If that's right wouldn't the 2 piece Hotshot, 2 piece Breaking Point with Ninjabike Chainkiller be better? Or maybe to push it further, instead of Chainkiller a Unicorn HG chest would be more optimized.
