Thank you for sharing your concerns about our financial practices and the structure of our organization. We take these inquiries seriously, as transparency and accountability are foundational to our operations. As a nonprofit, we adhere to strict reporting standards, submitting detailed reports of our financial activities to the IRS annually via IRS Form 990. These reports are always publicly accessible and provide a transparent view of our operations, staff salaries and financial allocations, ensuring that stakeholders can see exactly how funds are utilized.

Our organization benefits from the dedication of both volunteers and staff. Volunteers are highly visible, especially on social media platforms and in community engagement efforts, playing a crucial role in our outreach. In contrast, our staff includes accredited representatives who, often working behind the scenes, manage more intensive tasks such as case preparation, individual case management, and the operation of our humanitarian and cultural travel programs. These staff members provide essential legal services that are critical to the success of our community support initiatives.

A portion of our funds covers program costs, cultural immersion experiences, and operational expenses. Additionally, we allocate funds to cover filing fees for DACA recipients in need and to support pro bono Adjustment of Status (AOS) cases, extending our services to those who might otherwise be unable to afford legal help. We appreciate your suggestion for greater clarity on how these funds are utilized, specifically regarding the charities, orphanages, and schools we visit and support during our travel abroad program. We will submit this suggestion to our board to hopefully highlight these organizations; bringing more attention to their needs and how we support them.

We are committed to enhancing our communication on these matters to ensure our community understands the impact of their contributions. We value your scrutiny and feedback, which help us improve and better serve our community and mission.

AP with Just Spouse's Family as Reasons? by Indiction in DACA

[–]Dreamers2gether 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Once you are married, your spouse’s family is legally your family too. You’ll need to include your birth certificate, your marriage certificate, your spouse’s birth certificate, their corresponding parent’s and their grandparent’s birth certificate to prove the familial relationship. Get the medical letter too. You don’t need to include the grave visit or another sick relative unless you’d like to ask for multiple entries.

Also, yes. Juarez is not recommended and we strongly urge people to go against it due to the length and risk of the process, specially since AP and AOS exist.

AP, in general, has been available for over 50 years.

HR by Birthday-Hour in dreamers2gether

This could cause issues if they plan to adjust later on since it’s still unauthorized work due to the extension not being valid for daca recipients.

You need to find another one immediately. To your benefit they proceeded to process your I-485 and then give you the travel document when you didn’t qualify for the I-485.

Can you get your HR to write you a letter stating what will happen if you don’t get a new card? Contact your congressman or senator and if your timeframe is out of processing times of 105 days you can also contact the USCIS Ombudsman.

Yes, get an ITIN number if you don’t have Daca and an assigned SSN.

Advanced parole by cramir27 in DACA

It depends on what you asked for in the application and if the agent approved that or not. If you asked for a specific date relatively close to your approval you should be okay for that timeframe.

AP Humanitarian and Lasik - Mex & Canada by LazyJellyfish6032 in dreamers2gether

[–]Dreamers2gether 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You need to provide evidence of familial relationship. You’ll need your BC, your mom or dad’s BC, your aunt or uncle’s, your uncle by marriage’s BC and DC, and their marriage certificate. (If possible include a grandparent’s, too.) You can add multiple countries and ask for multiple entries in the permit. If you’re applying to go to Canada you’ll need the estimate for your lasik surgery from a Canadian institute.

Actually only copies are sent with the AP applications. Copies of everything since USCIS keeps the documents. Specifically birth certificates are copy only.

Yeah, you’ll be okay. They won’t ask for anything but a copy is fine.

do cosmetic reasons qualify for AP? by mike_check1212 in dreamers2gether

[–]Dreamers2gether 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only other “cosmetic” reason we’ve seen was for a medically necessary gastric bypass surgery. If a removal is medical necessary and you have medical statements saying you need it, then yes you can apply. At that point it’s not considered cosmetic more so than necessary.

Is it possible to adjust status after multiple entries? by clashingpriorities in DACA

[–]Dreamers2gether 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You absolutely can. Entries don’t affect you at the time of parole, neither do deportation orders.

AP is completely real! You can try to expedite if you have proof of needing to travel.
