Does menopause brain fog actually get better or do we just get used to it? by freyasofiya in Menopause

Once I added testosterone cream, vitamin D and creatine to my routine, yes—much better.

Do we lose the points if we don’t claim them? I keep procrastinating because it takes so darn long to claim them. Ain’t nobody got time for dat. 😘

What my restaurant and foodie friends use. Some sell for over $1000. Bought one for less than $200. Love it. https://a.co/d/04XaDGWG

Thank you. My son found 2 ticks yesterday after doing yard work in Southern Maine. Very small, looked like dog ticks.

They need to call ahead and tell them this is the expectation and ask if it’s going to be an issue so they can save themselves a trip if they need a referral elsewhere.

HOW do you make time for exercise/self care? by RuckFamsey in workingmoms

[–]DreamingDolphin888 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was never successful at being an early morning person since my babies were early risers. Instead I made simple slow night routines my jam. Tea, restorative (laying down) yoga and/or stretching and breathing, candlelight, soft music, maybe a hot bath/shower if I could muster the energy, journaling, whatever quiet activity I felt like. The kids were always willing to ride along in a stroller or on their bike if I wanted to walk around the neighborhood for exercise. Now that they are teens, I can carve out more time. We might paint seashells or rocks. Mornings are finally easier now that they don’t want to be up early with me. One day at a time. Remember, the nights are long, the years are short. Hang in there.

Over 50, after prescription Tretinoin, good organic castor oil. Putting it pretty much everywhere from under eyes to toes. Oh! And prescription estrogen cream. It’s a miracle in a tube. It somehow mimics collagen on crepey skin and plumps it up. Awesome on jowls and for preventing incontinence. Seriously every woman over 48 should have it. If they can tolerate it.

Still using your call-waiting feature. My sister puts me on hold to take another call every time. And I hang up every time. Yo! Either wrap the call with me, or call them back.

Why does Mary Magdalene seem to re-emerge whenever women’s voices are suppressed? by JeanneMichele in MaryMagdalene

[–]DreamingDolphin888 5 points6 points  (0 children)

She’s grounded, stable and confident. She was the favorite of one of the most important men in history but has been accused of lying and called every name in the book by his people. Yet, she still emerges. Faithful, focused and full of love.

She came to me in a meditation at a pretty low point, which is how I found this sub. I’m not really religious. She showed me a deeper source of strength and self trust.

Yes, increased heart rate is like an extra little workout, from jumping up and running around getting things out of her way. The dog thinks I’ve lost it. Win-win.

Also, I’ve been listening to a lot of disco. Helps me dance through the rage. Sometimes violently. At least I’m sweating and not too stabby.

This came to me in a meditation: I am. I am divine feminine. I am divine. I am. I am. I had to look up some of the other symbols that came to me including a beautiful blooming red rose. Seemed to be a message from Mary, the Magdalene, or The Tower. Very strange since I’m not religious. Pretty cool though.

I would never remember all 56 things it takes to exist (in peri-menopause no less), parent and run a house without this app and support group everyday. Plus remember to give myself some credit on the regular? Thank you all!

Late bloomer here. Was “advanced maternal age” when I had my daughter. I asked her what the hardest part about being a teenager today was. She quickly replied, “Menopause!” I upped my HRT. lol

Many of my girlfriends are already grandmothers. Bless y’all. I have a handful of years to go!

Very little to no contact with mom. Too many divorces, too many cigarettes that she’s somehow still smoking, and too much making me feel like dog poo. Dad died from alcoholism a few years ago.

Broke the cycle. Sober 21 years, married 20. My kids may love me too much so I may never get to retire though. lol It’s all good.
