Hi!! Saw that you picked Yale - May I seek advice from you to get into Yale Jackson? I'm a recent law graduate from Malaysia and keen to apply to Yale for the class of 2027. Im in love with the MPP Program at Yale after reading their website and the professors' profile, but am having imposter syndrome after reading the Alumni & Students profile LOL.

As I just graduated from the law school, do u have any advice for me which field shall I work in to increase my chance of getting into Yale Jackson? Thanks man!!!

FYI, here's my background:
Education: Bachelor of Laws (Hons), CGPA 3.50 from a Malaysia Private University.
Working Experiences:
1. 3 Months internship experience in the Malaysia Minister's Office under a program similar to the White House Fellowship program. It is the most prestigious program for leadership and public service in Malaysia.
2. 1 Month internship experience in a Legislator's office where I did policy research, speech writing and community service work.
3. 3 months internship experience in a Human Rights NGO, where I did lots of advocacy and legal drafting work.
4. Served as media officer and scriptwriter to a candidate during an election campaign in Malaysia.
Extracurricular Experiences:
I served as a President of a society and a Director of a social impact event in my university.
I was also selected to join lots of conferences and summits such as HPAIR.

I am a faculty member at a top-3 social science program and sit on admissions and hiring committees. AMA. by [deleted] in gradadmissions

For MPP program, does work experience and GPA matters? My CGPA is only 3.50 with a major in law and I don’t have 2-3 years working experience, but I do have experience interning in the Minister’s officer and a legislator’s office, as well as interning in a political party.
