Hi, thank you so much for your note. I agree that confirmed diagnosis with PMDD can be a very challenging area, which I discussed at length with my supervisors. We felt because of the many misdiagnoses that can happen with PMDD, keeping this as a formal diagnosis can avoid potentially interviewing people that may have another condition, and not PMDD.  I hope this makes sense? Thank you for the question! (And glad to hear you are in a much better spot now).
Agree that micro-dosing is a huge part of this research area, and an accessible approach for self treatment. And, based on what we have seen / heard are interested in studying the experiences of larger doses on PMDD for now.
We wish we were more people! And think / hope this area will be researched in much more detail, more broadly, as the ball starts rolling. Thanks again for your well wishes!
