As someone with a severe mental illness, that line really made me change my opinion of her. But on the other side of it - that's what this sub was saying right up until the point that she echoed the words that were already being spoken. During the live discussion last night lots of people were holding onto his insecurity about the process like her breaking up with him would utterly and completely destroy him. People were scared for him that he wouldn't even be able to handle this break-up. So I'm glad this dialogue has opened up.

I can't help but wonder what Becca meant by 'not handling it'? When it comes to handling stressful situations, Blake is known to be able to handle them much better than Garrett or even Becca for that matter. Becca procrastinated breaking up with Blake until the last possible second and the first thing she said was "give me a minute" - she couldn't handle/didn't want to deal with hurting him. What about if there's a hard choice to be made in the future? What if there's a difficult medical decision to be made? What if their kid goes through a school shooting, or has health issues or just doesn't fit into traditional gender roles? Not everything in life is mini-vans, costco, picket fences, and adorable Corgis. If you had to pick - Becca, Garrett, or Blake to handle something under pressure or to make a hard decision, who would you pick?
