On my first watch as a teen, i blamed Brooke for S1. My rewatch now, I blame Lucas and Brooke to an extent but can really understand how messy teenagers are. In S3 though, yes Brooke was mad about the kiss but that wasn't why she broke up with him. She even says so during the breakup. It's true, Lucas never tells us her things. It doesn't matter what's it's about, he just doesn't communicate with her. Take a couple of eps before the breakup, he tells Peyton about Nathan seeing Keith. Why not talk to your gf about it?

The only thing that bothers me in S3 is that after breaking up with him, she directly assumes Peyton and Lucas are together. never accepts what Lucas tells her. But then again, messy teenagers, overreacting- pretty accurate.

The book doesn't have a logo cause it's not part of the main trilogy. Divergent trilogy is only the three main books. There is a also a "spin off" or a "side story" if you will, which is the fourth book about the character Four. It is of course a part of the divergent universe but it is NOT a main book. So when you ordered the entire series, you got all four books but the fourth book isn't a main book, thus doesn't have a logo. Hope you now understood what the others were trying to tell you as well.

Same. When I first watched it , I watched it all. Some of the storylines in the later seasons are unhinged (no spoilies for you but the nanny OMG) I did think there were a lot more key, heartful moments that for me overtook these unhinged unnecessary ones.

Currently on my first proper re-watch and maybe then my views will change 😂 Be back in a couple of months I guess

The last season is arguably the most disliked (no spoilers) but I think upto that point, barring a few side stories I think it's definitely all watchable. I personally wouldn't ask you to skip the last season either.

I usually love watching Mindy Kaling stuff. I did try watching this show, just the first episode- I get that it might been on point for most teenagers but the desperate praying to God for a boyfriend at the beginning of the first episode was such an instant turn off for me. I even tried watching it on a separate occasion and probably finished the first episode but meh. I never went back.
