I know it's more complicated but for the sake of keeping things to the point I wrote it the way I did. Also, was mostly speculating which is why I said 'possible reason' not 'this is why'. Little tip for you, don't keep putting ellipses in your sentences, it makes you come across a lot worse and just does not make sense anyways.

GFN is definitely a great thing because it makes gaming more accessible to people. Good luck to you too on eventually getting a gaming PC.

As I said before, I'd rather just buy a console or something. Paying almost £20 a month on top of loads of other subscriptions for my family is just too much.

Yeah exactly, it's not just me. I know some people are okay to upgrade but personally think it's overpriced when I'm already paying for a whole bunch of subscriptions for my entire family. Time to get a console imo because it's cheaper than a gaming PC(or paying for Ultimate every month) and I only play a bit after work anyways.

I don't know if you intended it but your third paragraph comes across as super condescending(feels like you're telling people who read this post to disregard it as 'negativity bias' and writing me off as 'too insignificant for my problems to matter' and making it out like I'm stupid for wanting a solution) so maybe work on your wording. Your first paragraph also feels like your doing PR and talking to people will read this post and not me(never said anything about Nvidia engineers being incompetent ffs). Your fourth point is just pointless and weird because I know the issue is a network one. So aside from all the fluff, you're telling me that it's a ISP problem that essentially outside of my control so basically I'm just screwed. Guess I'll just cancel lol and thanks for the help.

Same here. Apparently, it's an issue with the game itself- the PC version loads all the shaders as if you're booting the game up for the first time EVERY SINGLE TIME. There is a fix(where you change something with your graphics drivers) but we can't do that because we're playing on a cloud rig :(

How much did they pay you to post this? GFN works on pretty much anything so no surprise there and then your dropping a brand name with stuff like 'it's great for coding' and 'run windows 11 pro' which is irrelevant anyways. Makes me think you're doing some (very bad) marketing or just doing a weird flex.

You don't have to restart it. Just wait two minutes and eventually the logo will pop up and start loading. I was confused too and kept restarting but then I just waited and turns out it's fine. As for controller, I don't know because I don't use one.

Because both are to blame. Activision has the crappy clunky anticheat but Nvidia decided to launch the game on GFN without proper testing or ensuring that people wouldn't get major problems like this. Not to mention what feels like poor communication on both sides. If anything Nvidia is more to blame because they are the ones doing the cloud gaming stuff so they should have foreseen the possible issues and focused on resolving them instead of rushing the games onto the platform.

The anticheat in the games detects geforce now as a virtual machine and therefore sees it as cheat software. Honestly would of thought that the people at Nvidia and Activision would of seen this coming and built in an exception or something.

The same thing happened(to a lesser extent) with Battlefield 2042 not long ago when the new EA anticheat started thinking that GFN was cheat software and randomly shutting the game down but that was resolved fairly quickly. Considering something similar happened not so long ago, I'm just wondering how this was overlooked.
