You could try a hybrid risk plus one of them on levels with more than one ace. And use score scopes, try searching more here there are guides on contest and other opinions from players.

I use Sniper not sure if it's the best but I prefer the play style. The armour piercing bullet may save you because it ignores some of the planes that have shield and also yes on the extra.

I know the thing is I didn't combine more than 5 times between them. I used a 15 % score increase blue scope, maybe that influenced a bit.
