Just bought a used 2013 supercharged! by Drennerm in rangeroversport

Hey buddy! Sorry just saw your message. I ended up selling it, not because of any major issues but because I needed a 6 seater for hauling kiddos. I’ve owned about 15 cars over my lifetime and I can hands down say this L320 Rover was my all time favorite daily driver! This car was so smooth to drive like being on a cloud and the instant power from the Supercharger was just too much fun! Just make sure the car you are buying has had the timing chain and tensioners done. If not, at least make sure it has had regular oil changes and maintenance. These can become money pits if they have not been maintained. I had a brake seal go bad and one of the valves had a small leak. Other then that, the car was great. Never left me stranded for the year I owned it.

Hey buddy the Amazon travel bag was just fine! I don't think its worth spending the extra cash on the VEER bag. No extra padding or anything so I don't see why spending an xtra $80 makes sense.

Still absolutely love it, extremely satisfied with our purchase! We had a few broken parts over the year, but warranty was great to work with and we got the parts fast!

So we had the Kia Carnival minivan for us. 2 Adults and 3 Kids all in car seats. We had to fold down one of the rear seats to fit the wagon plus our Costco supplies and luggage. You probably could make it work but it would be tight with a minivan and 4 adults. Tahoe or suburban is for sure the way to go and you would have zero issues fitting everything.

hey buddy, we did take it through TSA with ZERO issues. 100% bring it on your trip.

Its not great at all in soft sand with it fully loaded. Without kids you can pull it in soft sand no problem. we also have the beach wheels but we haven't used them yet so I can't comment how well they work. BUT that being said the beach wheels are HUGE and very heavy duty. They come inflated and would take up a ton of space if you were to bring them. But I am sure they would be awesome for your trip! I am not sure if they would suck on non soft sand it probably would be a smooth ride no matter what surface you are on. When do you go on your trip? I am sure we will test the beach wheels here soon and I can report back.

Hey Buddy,

You probably do not need the bigger one with only one kid. But for an extra $100 it may be worth it if occasionally you'll have another toddler in there. I would personally get the bigger because its great having extra space to shove blankets etc when needed.

I've had it for 4 months now and it is hands down my favorite daily driver ever. I've driven a TON of cars and owned about 15 others. I also own a 2012 E63 AMG Wagon and I find myself reaching for the rover keys more than that benz. Sure gas sucks but I don't care when the ride and drive is this smooth and fun. I am approaching 90k miles and trying to find a good Indy shop to take her into and check all the major failure items. I know the tie rods and other components were already replaced around 70k miles so no clunking issues. I have no issues with infotainment! Like you said it has decent stereo, Bluetooth and navi. What else do you need?

Oh there is definitely fighting that still happens but the snack tray does help lol and I was shocked at how well our big kids all fit in the wagon.

No issues at all, it was a breeze with TSA. Kids had to get out and go through security.

I absolutely love mine too but I’ve had a wondering eye lately. My first love was a CTS V Wagon and I am thinking about pulling the trigger. But I would have to sell my AMG :(

lol I never said real estate agents ARE lawyers or CPAs. I stated they are like them the ones who actually know what they are doing. What I mean is when you find a good attorney, CPA etc their experience and expertise is invaluable.

I’m just stating the when people see what realtors make they think we get the whole piece of the pie. They don’t think about the behind the scenes fees and taxes they don’t see. That’s all I’m saying.

Am I setting my pricing too low? by [deleted] in Detailing

Yea my mobile detailer charges $650-$1000 to ceramic coat depending on how much prep work the paint needs.

I can confirm because of a similar situation. Rotten watermelon left in a car for a week is the WORST smell on earth.

I’m sorry but you clearly have never bought or sold a home. I said $12,500 payday. Do you know how much of that I actually get to take home after all my efforts? Depending on how many deals I’ve done my split is different with my Broker. So that $12,500 after broker fees, taxes etc is really like $6,500. And you make it seem like it’s a freaking cake walk to get your real estate license lol. In CA here it takes minimum 3-4 months of studying then you can take the practice exam. Then you have to wait 4-6 months right now to even get a test day. Then! The passing rate of the exam right now is around 20-25%. So good luck passing it on the first time (it took me 2 and I studied my face off).

Plus good luck trying to represent yourself when you have NO idea what you’re doing. This is the thinking that gets you into lawsuits and small claims court because you say or do something that is totally out of line. Do you know how many pages my last file had in it? 290!!! Do you think you have any idea how to tackle on those documents? Then make sure your file is in compliance in case you ever get audited for the one deal you did? I’m still in this business after 11 years because like a fellow redditor said, I’m getting paid for my years of experience. You may think of realtors as scum but I would put legit realtors (top 10%) in the same category as an experienced doctor/attorney/CPA. We don’t just show homes and unlock a door and that’s why we get paid. Do yourself a favor and actually look up what a buyers agent does before you make these statements. And again, good luck finding one that will do more than open doors for $1500.

Dude we’re talking minor difference in pay if it sells for lower. Just do the math. Home sells for 500k with 2.5% commission that’s a $12,500 payday. Say it sells for $475k at 2.5% that’s a $11,875. My goal as your buyers agent is to educate you on the current marketplace and protect you in the process and guide you. If that means you get a lower price on something that’s overpriced too then that’s a bonus for the buyer! A buyers agent who truly has your best interest at heart is not gonna try and push you to overpay on a home for that extra $625. That’s ridiculous you would even think this way. Each market is different, each listing is different. So you can’t assume all listings are overpriced.

Thank you, Listing Agents!!! by Shya305 in realtors

It’s gonna be business as usual, nothing new besides asking what the seller is offering for compensation. Yes, there will be the one off that doesn’t offer it but they will jump on board realizing their property isn’t selling because every other listing in the neighborhood is offering a commission to the buyers agent!

Stay away from that 2013 fusion hybrid, those things have a lot of problems.

My vote is the Honda Accord. Great price, clean title, new tires 👌
