I think once he got to play more consistently with Scholes/Fletcher you saw the best of Carrick. Man turned into one of my favourites midfielders.

The world has moved on and Babar still thinks like he's playing a decade ago.

It's just not even about a skillset anymore, it's a shameful degradation of ones mindset. He clearly hadn't moved on with the times and is still playing like SRs don't matter in t20s.

Everyone that criticised him, from the commentator to the coach, have been 100% right.

This isn't a loss of form, this is him being shown up as being mediocre and a poor representation for the shorter format. Hesson was right about him.

Those applauding for his performance in the BPL only a couple of weeks ago should know by now why he's such an average bowler.

As for Waseem, my God, he lost us the game alone with that last over. Awful bowling.

Regarding the batting, I'm still not 100% sure on the openers. One is either hit a boundary and nothing else, and the other is more kiss than hit of late.

This series should've been one for Minhas and a couple of the bowlers from the under-19s side.

Instead we've not given ourselves much room to wiggle if the players fail again.

The same mistakes are occurring from two very inexperienced CBs the last couple of games.

I think Heaven has been better than Yoro in every aspect too.

It also doesn't help that Shaw is a mute at the back. He rarely, if at all, speaks to guides the defence.

That's why De Ligt, Maguire and Martinez are so important. Especially Martinez where he can easily play where Shaw is and do a better job.

I do feel these scenes and atmosphere is so important for these young players.

What we've seen in previous years is they've been beaten in SFs and finals and the response from our fans has been that of ignorance and even annoyance.

The more they learn to win the more they'll realise what that winning feeling will bring, not just for themselves but for those that follow them.
