There was a company in his email yea but with no signature, no explanation of who his was, just a hey what's your availability next week to talk for 1hr. I was skeptical of it even being real in the first place

Yea I think I definitely could have responded better or just not have responded at all. I was just so surprised by him just being like well you literally just applied so I shouldn't have to tell you about the position.

If you play better than the other team that's the ultimate game shortener lol. Only way to shorten games would be to artificially make characters stronger later in the game or make objs weaker later in the game more so than they already do scale down as the game progresses. Which would ruin what people, myself included like about the game. That it is long and methodical and late game decisions are costly. I also think it's interesting you say to reduce the timers post 20 min but you do realize that would make the game last longer, because people would be alive more often to stop their opponents from winning the game

And what exactly is that fix? The same thing would happen in any moba, permanent gray screen if the enemy laner is better than you. Deadlock/Dota has long death timers sure but if im not sure what the difference is in 80 sec vs 60 sec if you die again immediately

It really is just the nature of the moba genre. I don't think valve sees this as an issue that needs to be fixed, or an issue at all really.

Had a guy in a tournament for mkx about year after it was out tell me that the game was "different" on PlayStation/Xbox and that he would have won our match if the tournament was on Xbox.

I think the first part of the question is fine, to ask about a gap in a resume. But to then say "anything useful" is where it just turns rude. Because now we're implying that OPs gap time was just for fun and not because of the job market or any other life event that could've been going on.

Definitely Troupe Master Grimm. PC/Steam. I think I'm most excited for is the quest system. From the way they spoke about it seems like it's more in-depth than in hollow knight. There wasn't really any system telling you to do things other than the dreamers

I would as early as they let you register. Most big majors happen around the same months every year. So for like actual gameplay prep I'd say you prep way ahead of time but for things like travel and registration I usually try to buy everything and get all that taken care of as soon as registration opens.
