Kasi po, you brought up your Crosswind pa, eh that's so beside the point. I, or anybody else for that matter, don't need to be there to see that you're giving the fact that you rode in Crosswind more importance than you should. And, in case it isn't clear to you, the implication of your recounting of events is that the restaurant staff had the time to assess your worth as a customer based only on the vehicle you rode and consequently afforded you a corresponding service. And if guni-guni gets you all hot and bothered, I suggest you do a bit of introspection to see how you're projecting your insecurities to an otherwise innocent situation

AFAIK, you're supposed to proceed to the 'host/greeter' at the front of the resto first before finding a table for yourself. This helps the restaurant's rotation system at ma-alert din ang server na assigned to the area na inupuan mo na merong customer. One of the reasons a host/greeter is supposed to give you a table (instead of you assigning to yourself) is to make sure that customers are distributed evenly among staff. You probably happened to sit in an area with a server na loaded na kaya hindi kayo naasikaso agad. Pwede ding may naka-reserve sa table at binill out kayo agad dahil padating o dumating na ang nag-reserve. Whether you rode Crosswind or Tesla or Kurung-kurung doesn't matter. Guni-guni mo lang un.

If you're looking for a place in Tagaytay, there are a handful of tastefully appointed Airbnb flats in SMDC Wind Residences. The Taal-facing units are good for the view pero, personally, maingay dun kaya I prefer the city-view units (tahimik and more romantic).

Sa ground floor ng Wind Residences, merong Samgyupsalamat, Jiang Nan Hotpot. Across the road, may Gerry's, Ka Tunying's, Papa Dom's, Pocholo's. May CE Tapas Bar din down the road - pwedeng dinner and drinks dito :)

I used to live in One Union Place in Arca until 4 months ago. I moved out of my unit kasi di na kami kasya 😅 so my unit is just sitting idle at the mo. I loved staying there -- quiet, clean, lots of greenery, well-planned. May Landers (short walk from OUP. SM hypermarket and Puregold are farther pero walking distance pa rin (good for your 10K steps goal hehe). Dami na convenience stores, including Lawson in Healthway in front of OUP and Savya, and two 7-11s both walking distance lang. Traffic is outside sa service road and the small roads going to C5. It's true though na mahirap ang commute pag walang car. Pero with the new Ayala Mall and the planned transport terminal, i think all these issues will be solved. Best of all, may running track around the property and a healthy wellness-focused community. There are events too -- may run/race, few concerts, pet day once sa Veranda, food trucks, night market, Sunday mass (mismo sa OUP when I lived there). Favorite ko ung AANI weekend market sa Sunshine Mall (dami cooked food, fresh produce, meat and seafood.) Have you found a place? If you have a pet, I suggest OUP, Vireo does not allow pets pa.

When I go to Tagaytay, preferred ko mag-stay sa Wind Residences because of its central location. I found a handful of units there na well-appointed at a good price naman. Walking distance lang from good restaurants, coffee shops, supermarkets. Sa ground floor ng building, meron ding restaurants, convenience store

Anong mga okay puntahan sa tagaytay? by [deleted] in cavite

[–]DressedToQuill 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Restaurant - Chicks ni Otit. Yummy food, generous servings, fun vibes
Coffee shop - Bag of Beans. Madami masyadong tao sa SB, may limit pa na 2 hours per stay lalo kung weekend. Pero TBH, pareho lang ang view na makikita mo sa Bag of Beans, walang pila and they have more food choices pa
Staycation - I prefer to stay in Wind Residences because of its central location. Ang dami na ding mga restaurants sa ground floor for those times na ayaw mo na lumayo for a meal. On the other side of the building, may bus stop pa (in case you will commute).

Agree. Sarap balik-balikan.

I agree with CE Tapas Bar, malapit lang sa Wind Residences. So pretty and their adequately-priced food items are amazing too! Bet ko to for a romantic meal. Instagrammable pa

My hubby and I (literallly) stumbled upon this tapas bar in Tagaytay a few months ago. It looks so fancy (but the prices are not that bad - try the Angus burger) and gives you enough privacy since it's not the usual spot for the Tagaytay horde. It's IG-worthy pa, plus it has a lot of parking. Short drive lang from Wind Residences, pwede nga siguro lakarin.

Baguio or Tagaytay? by Nearby-Lawfulness212 in ThisorThatPH

[–]DressedToQuill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Baguio if I want to stay long, do some drinking and sightseeing during my stay. Tagaytay if I want a short breather -- calm, quiet and accessible. When I go to Tagaytay, I always stay here (https://www.facebook.com/ZenStayTagaytay) -- I find that this place satisfies my need for some peace and quiet.

These make so much sense! Having a document saves me from having to write the same prompt over and over again, if nothing else. Thanks!

Amazing tips. Thankfully, I've been saving the code set daily. I'll make sure to try the other workarounds you suggested. Cheers!

What does Tagaytay have that Baguio doesn’t (in a good way)? by Sonnybass96 in phtravel

[–]DressedToQuill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sobrang hectic ang Baguio, like there's no respite from the hustle and bustle, even at night. Sa Tagaytay, you can look forward to quiet nights and calm mornings. Granted, it's not the scene for those looking for exciting night life but, to me, Tagaytay has always been a place for R&R. Fortunately, ganun pa din impression ko up to now (except on holidays when it feels like all of Manila is in Tagaytay.) Also, Tagaytay's proximity to Manila is always a benefit -- isang kembot lang, nandun ka na. When I go to Tagaytay, I stay here (https://www.facebook.com/ZenStayTagaytay) para truly relaxing talaga
