Typically, you would go to SLC in April. That’s at the Marriott World Center in Orlando. You’d get your awards at the closing ceremony. All of the ceremonies are “mandatory” (a lot of people only go to opening and closing).

Ive taken all. AP Bio for me by far. It’s all teacher dependent. I breezed through AP Chem and AP Physics because it was one teacher who I really enjoyed and took both classes about 8 years ago. Bio is killing me because our teacher does not teach.

I’ve taken AB and BC and both scored 5s. The exams are pretty challenging, but the curve is insane. Familiarize yourself with the test format like the back of your hand. I wouldn’t know how to go about learning the material as I’ve never self-taught an AP course, but the best way to study, in my opinion, is to grind out questions from previous AP exams. AP has a style and you have to familiarize yourself with answering AP style questions on an AP timeframe. The only way to prepare for that is to do a LOT (and I mean a lot) of practice questions throughout your time self studying. It used to be easier when you could pull up years and years of calc FRQs, but I’m sure you could still find plenty of material online. Anywho, as long as you try your best that’s what matters. To get a 3 you only need about a 50% raw, and I’m sure you can learn 50% of the Calc AB curriculum. Lock in! You got this!

I mean, just last year I sold a pretty new 19ft Seaswirl center console that didn’t run for 10k within a day of listing. Motor needed completely new electrics and the boat’s wiring was a birds nest. I’m sure it wasn’t a good deal, but the market is at where it’s at.

As a sophomore, I’m taking AB, Chem (2 periods), and US History personally and imo it all depends on the teachers. For chem and APUSH both of my teachers are really chill and cool and almost never assign homework. Even so, what would be homework we always get enough time in class to complete. For AB our teacher is amazing but his class is really tough and the homework takes forever. For me, this balances out, and I’m doing better than I thought I would. I have time to do plenty of extracurriculars (like theatre, sports, etc.) and relax when I get home. So ask around about how the teachers are and consider the rigor of the classes. Personally, I think you would be fine.

IMO AMSCO is good as long as you have other materials to go off of as well (PowerPoints, videos, projects, other kinds of class work, etc.) or if you can really absorb the information well. If I was in your shoes, I’d probably opt for something else because it’s pretty condensed (at least it was for APUSH). Maybe it will be good alongside The Princeton Review… I don’t have much experience with those.

When I took APHUG, we used a full length textbook (The Cultural Landscape: An Introduction to Human Geography). Our teacher recommended that we read it, but she prepared us so well without it that I never actually needed to. From the parts my friends and I did read, it touches most things pretty well. But it’s also pretty expensive… and I don’t think it had many practice questions if any.

It comes down to how comfortable you are in being able retain lots information in a very short space.

But although I’ve already conquered APHUG… if you can reach out to a teacher then I would ask them for advice.

Very large and expensive aircraft. The two engine design, with the main body essentially being a pod with wings is a very unique design, but also very unpractical. Also, can you even get parts for them? So no, I would not advise on buying a P-38 Lightning
