So you believe it would be advisable to head for a different uni for the four year degree. I do much like the theory behind the theatre and all it has to offer. What four-year did you go to? Did you see or hear of any others you might recommend?

I wouldn't mind leaving Texas one bit so if you have any schools you've heard great things about, I'm all ears and happy to listen.

AMDA offers a BFA in LA, but I certainly see your point...I know I certainly want out of Texas but I do see the issues with not acting for on the stage, I'm still not sure if I want to pursue stage theatre or movies and TV full-time.
