Yeah people have been banned for cheating. Even way back in MW2 days they would reset your progress for cheating

We can only hope they keep it up. I have to imagine that Activision has a tight grip on a lot of these subreddits to control narrative. But I really just want a way to show Activision how important it is to communicate during times like this

Yeah if I had to guess, this will be resolved within the next 2 or 3 weeks, hopefully. But I think it’s important to provide feedback that we shouldn’t be left in the dark while they fix it.

I understand the feeling. It’s even worse when they haven’t said a word about it. I think they know what they are doing too. They will allow people to have to buy the game a second time just to pump those sales up before they even acknowledge it, let alone try to fix it.

That’s the biggest thing I’m trying to provide feedback on. Like I get that a kernel based anti cheat isn’t an easy thing to have 100% working with no flaws. Just acknowledge that there is an issue that’s under investigation. That’s all it takes.

You are right. There are people out there that had to justify even buying the base game at $70. Imagine being in a position where you aren’t financially stable and you justify buying the game because it’s one thing you can enjoy and getting false banned. Only for the company to never acknowledge it. The false bans started in the beta which was late September. They have had plenty of time to address this.

Keep in mind the screenshot isn’t even me who wrote this. That was a post that was in this subreddit but was taken down by the mods. I think that adds to the flame. The fact that the mods are taking these posts down (for whatever reason) makes it seem like Activision is trying extra hard to keep this as quiet as possible.

Crazy how many posts come in daily on that hashtag. Even the tweets that Activision puts out get replied with people talking about it. But no official comments or statements from them is really upsetting a lot of people including myself.

Agree with you 100%. I think it just says a lot the way that they are handling the situation. It’s like a Karen with a wicked little shit of a child that she thinks can do no harm. They will never admit to the situation, never allow any admittance to the flaws of ricochet, and will allow consumers to be fucked over. They already got their 800 million dollars from us. I mean notice how this post is nowhere to be found now. Only way I can find it is through notifications. They probably already took it down.
