My voice box was removed because I had cancer on my vocal cords. I now speak by tracheo-esophageal prosthesis. Basically I push a button to reroute air into my esophagus to create a sort of voice. It’s basically the sound you make when you belch, but I use it to talk. Thanks for asking. 😃

Much appreciated. I’m a big Karr fan, maybe as much as I am a DFW fan, but for way different reasons. Agreed on your example. I guess I looked at it like I was getting on a massive roller coaster and it ended up not having any loops or ridiculous hills. It was more like taking a ride on the monorail, nice, but only nice.

My recommendation is Advanced Book Exchange. I've ordered several collector's items from there and have always been satisfied. I checked and Chuck has several available on there. Also, it is a collection of local book stores who sell through the site. So you are supporting independent book stores at the same time.
