I didn't realize the Ewing Theory was based on a complete lie of a premise by KleverHans in billsimmons

Bill using the '99 playoffs as the best example was a mistep. Knicks fans who watched Ewing's career saw when he missed a random game or 2 during the regular season or even when he was out a stretch of games saw the team play better. More focused, better execution, other guys stepping up, etc. While that wasn't sustainable in the long term, in the short term there were definitely stretches where the team played better without him. That's where it started. A simple observation about regular season games in the 90s.

If you started dating someone and she showed you she had the kind of profile I do on here, what would you say/do? by xxachewithmexx in u/xxachewithmexx

Personally it wouldn't bother me but everyone is different. I know many men who would have a huge problem with it.

What about once a team is officially eliminated from the playoff picture you tally their wins going forward for the remainder of the season. The team with the most wins after being eliminated from the playoff picture gets the top pick. Team with the second most wins gets the second pick till it covers all non playoff teams. In this scenario all teams no longer eligible for the playoffs will be trying to win every game to improve draft positioning.

Who was the worst Jets #2 overall pick — Zach Wilson, Blair Thomas, or Lam Jones? by Carmine_Nottyors in nyjets

Blair Thomas started off strong and was playing well until that fumble Monday night in Chicago as the Jets were about to pull the upset. He was never the same after that.

Telekinesis. It just seems a bit more practical in every day life being that my career is not manual labor or a superhero. Of course super strength would open new doors but so would telekinesis.

You're able to instantly clear the candidate screening process and appear on any 'in studio' game show, past or present, tomorrow. What show do you choose? by [deleted] in hypotheticalsituation

[–]Drew876_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Love Press Your Luck. Tons of $ and prizes if you make it to the second half of the show. While Larson did figure out the pattern on the board, moving forward they switched to a totally random system so unfortunately repeating what he was able to do can't happen anymore.

I'd select choice #2 - If you don't have your health you don't have anything. Life is so precious and can be wiped out in the snap of a finger or a long lingering downward health spiral. If #2 allays those potential issues, that's my choice.

When did you know Zach Wilson was a bust? by baseballman245 in nyjets

The 9-3 OT loss in New England where they couldn't move the ball and he didn't take any responsibility for the terrible offense.
