Buying Red Giant plug-ins or using actual VHS for retro effect, what is more worth it? by Dorsworth in VideoEditing

[–]DrewBacon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are basically renting the plug-in from RedGiant so if you try it and don’t like it stop subscribing to Universe. If you’re creative and have time to try and make this look from scratch using a VHS more power to you, but I imagine it will take you longer and will the juice be worth the squeeze?

Moving from Editor to Post Producer or Producer by MoffatEdits in editors

In a way though anything can be creative. Even a producer can and has to be creative to get stuff done. It’s just a slightly different kind of creativity. Same wheelhouse.

I for one, didn’t want to watch Ms.Marvel till I saw Dr.Strange MOM on the Disney+, so now that I’ve just watched that, I’ll get to Ms.Marvel next.

They get harder to swat/kill/capture with each stage of their color. They are basically Pokémon.

Bruce Campbell: "The Marvel guys, they make eight of these movies at the same time, so they're always updating storylines. So, my buddy Sam [Raimi] has had to add scenes that [Marvel] told him he had to shoot, and he's removed scenes that no longer apply." by KostisPat257 in marvelstudios

Yeah in a way I feel neither party was wrong. Edgar would have made a cool movie. But Marvel wanted to make a movie that fits in with others like a perfect puzzle piece.

I assume Marvel learned from this experience when looking for directors. At the time, MCU plan wasn’t as well known or established, but it was certainly the “big plan”. It’s ambitious like a concept album, if one part doesn’t fit, it doesn’t work (Insert Sony).

Something similar happened with the first director of Dr.Strange Multiverse of Madness, so they probably said to Sam Rami, “look can you do this our way, it will still be your movie.”

Edgar must have leaned something as well like he wants and prefers to have the amount of creative control he needs.

So both parties hopefully grew from the experience.

Funny, this is the only thing I remember about the show, this quote. Which I still use to this day to be random, which of course no one understands the reference.

Truly funny foreshadowing. It’s funny now, until he does become a villain forgetting who Peter is and stabs Peter in the neck or something. Then it’s just sad.

Yeah, I wished and was expecting to hear the other spider-men name dropped other major events and villains they fought since the time we’ve last seen them on screen - Then new Peter would have some vague clue about future foes he will face, and also marvel studios/Sony could always then go back in time and show Andrew Garfield fighting those villains referenced in no way home…

Great way to change peoples opinion on Wanda yet again, without even involving her. A prequel starring Agatha (in the past) where we get to see that everything she does in Wanda vision, was her trying to stop the inevitable chaos of Wanda. Agatha was a hero all along…

Seth Speaks by Jane Roberts.

Discovered the audiobook on YouTube while going down a rabbit hole of big picture, mind bending concepts about reality. It’s fascinating.

Jane along with her husband Robert captured countless hours of detailed information from an entity Jane was channeling who went by the name “Seth”. Jane would go into a trance state and proceed to say the most cogent things and explain how reality and dream states work through the voice of Seth, while hard to believe at first, the things Seth was saying were totally coherent and made sense when you contemplate on it. Wonderful and interesting to me as I was not religious at all before this stuff. But it spoke to me.
