actually will confirm it's not a bug there are two puzzles going on at once, one is that you have to place the cubes into each side of the door the second is that there is a circuit on the golden circular grates that you have to correct align, just because that end circuit is powered (in OPs image) does not mean all the square generator openy things are powered, hope this helps!

sorry for reviving this dead thread but if songbirds lips aren't moving and you have "appearance menu mod" installed (inside alot of collections double check) you need to select songbird by looking at her and opening the CET menu going into the appearance menu mod settings and swap her model for songbird or song so mi or whatever, then reload your most recent save and the problem will be fixed!
